World's Oldest Man Dies At Age 146, 146 Days Before Revelation 12 Sign
The oldest human in the world, Mbah Gotho of Indonesia, died on Sunday at the age of 146. Gotho was reportedly a Christian. Sunday, April 30th, was exactly 146 days from the Revelation 12 Sign on September 23rd.
Gotho was exactly 146 years, 4 months, and 1 day old at his death (inclusive).
Revelation 4:1:
After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
In other news, a bag containing two human embryos was found last month near Thessaloniki, Greece by a shepherd. The embryos were estimated to be from around 20 weeks gestation. Last month, the planet Jupiter had been in Virgo's womb for 20 weeks. The city of Thessaloniki is significant in regards to biblical prophecy because it was to the Thessalonian church that the Apostle Paul twice mentioned the doctrine of the rapture:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18:
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
And 2 Thessalonians 2:1-8:
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the departure occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
Hi Gary,
ReplyDeleteI firmly believe in prohecy and the Revelation 12 sign, to add, does vision of Ken Peters (saw in 1980 and testified in 2005) fit the events of rapture (pre, mid or post tribulation). Or was it corroborated by other Pastors in body of Christ.
Also is the Revelation 12 Sign a vision or revelation to Unsealed? Does both need to be corroborated to have credibility.
I'm asking this from an defence point of view in court for the Judge and jury (assuming).
Many thanks.
I'm familiar with Ken Peters and I've listened to his entire recounting of his vision. It's interesting, but I dismiss it for several reasons:
Delete1. No outside substantiation. The Bible says not prophecy is given by private interpretation. The Bible also says a matter is established by multiple witnesses. Ken can't be his own second witness. The prophets in the Old Testament, for example, lived at a time when multiple prophets walked the earth together. They prophesied similar things around the same time.
2. Ken Peter's church is known for very concerning, unbiblical practices: http://difster.blogspot.com/2008/09/very-bad-doctrine.html
3. His vision seems to contradict Scripture in several areas. For example, he recounts the resurrection of the Church without including the rapture. He may also teach partial-rapturism and/or works-righteousness in places.
"Also is the Revelation 12 Sign a vision or revelation to Unsealed? Does both need to be corroborated to have credibility."
It is a revelation to all Believers. It's contained in God's Word in Revelation chapter 12. This isn't a new vision or revelation, God has already revealed it in the Bible. The question is if our interpretation of Scripture is faithful or not.
Food for thought on 146 - http://www.biblewheel.com/GR/GR_146.php
ReplyDeleteAs in the dass of Noah when Methushelah died in the year of the flood, while Henoch was raptured before.
ReplyDeleteyou people can't be serious.....is this a fake religion page? that whole 146 thing - you guys really can't be serious.....
ReplyDeleteIf God is real then He is also sovereign. That includes over the details. I don't believe in coincidence.
DeleteThey are serious and so am I. The Great Pyramid of Giza is 146 meters high. A year for a meter. The bible says that in the land of Egypt there would be a sign.
DeleteApril 30th was my birthday ;) Interesting catch, Gary. Thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteThanks Scottie!

ReplyDeleteThe bible says that in the land of Egypt there would be a sign of the last days. The meters match his age.
