Could 2017 Be A Jubilee Year?
The biblical year runs from Nisan to Adar. It begins roughly in the month of April and ends in March. In order to identify what year is the Jubilee we would naturally look for significant events in history within that Spring to Spring timeframe. The Jubilee signals release from bondage and a return to lands and possessions. According to the Torah the Jubilee is the fiftieth year (Lev. 25:10-11) following a sevenfold sabbatical year cycle (7 x 7 years). The Jubilee is declared or consecrated on the tenth day of the seventh month by blowing a trumpet throughout all the land, which is the Day of Atonement (Lev. 25:9). So let's see if 2017-2018 might actually be the Jubilee and remember that we are only looking for events that fall roughly between the April to April range:
2017-2018: 50 years since the Jews recaptured their biblical capital. Back in May Israel celebrated this anniversary by declaring the "Jubilee of Jerusalem" and even lighting up the Jerusalem sky with "50". You can read more about this here and here.
1967-1968: The Jews recapture Jerusalem in June 1967 along with other large swaths of the Holy Land (Judea, Samaria, the Golan Heights, Gaza, and the Sinai Peninsula). This definitely fits the Jubilee theme of receiving back lands and possessions.
1917-1918: The Ottoman Empire, which had controlled the Holy Land for centuries, was defeated by the British and Jerusalem fell to General Allenby in December 1917. The land of Israel was transferred from anti-Semitic enemies to those friendly to the Zionist cause. The Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917 was a pledge by the British government to eventually establish a Jewish homeland in the Holy Land. Again we see the Jubilee themes of returning lands and possessions - the Jews were promised they would get their land back. This declaration was also of monumental prophetic significance in that it was effectively a statement that the Gentiles who had controlled Israel and Jerusalem for over 2,000 years were relinquishing control.
1867-1868: Jews in Europe had been subject to harassment, stolen lands and property, and the relinquishment of civil rights for centuries, but in the early 19th century that began to change. Just a few months after Franz Joseph was coronated Emperor of Austria-Hungary, the Jews were emancipated across the empire on December 22, 1867 (again in the Spring to Spring range). Interestingly, the Austro-Hungarian Empire lasted for exactly one Jubilee (1867-68 to 1917-18).
1817-1818: Emperor Alexander I of Russia established the Ministry of Religious Affairs with the intention of offering Jews who would convert to Christianity full civil rights, free land, and no taxation. He placed the head of the Russian Bible Society in charge of the new ministry and both were inclined towards the physical and spiritual well-being of the Jewish people who were being persecuted elsewhere in Europe.
Also, an extraordinarily rare astronomical event occurred on January 3, 1818 when Venus occulted Jupiter. Planetary occultations are so rare that sometimes they only happen once every few hundred years. This was the only planetary occultation to occur until 2065. While its connection to the Jubilee isn't readily apparent, Venus and Jupiter seem to be the two "stars" that represent Christ - Venus represents the glorified Christ (His divine nature; see Rev. 22:16) and Jupiter represents Christ's human nature along with the Church, His body (see here).
1517-1518: The Protest Reformation was kicked off on October 31, 1517 when Martin Luther nailed a copy of his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of All Saints' Church in Wittenberg. The Reformation was a release from the spiritual bondage of the Roman Catholic Church. It allowed for most of the religious and Christian freedoms we now use and cherish today and most importantly, it began a revitalization in the Christian faith and return to many of the early Church's beliefs and practices. The Reformation set the stage for massive worldwide evangelization in the following centuries. By most counts, greater than 40% of Christians are now Protestants (about one billion people). Next month will witness the 500th anniversary of this momentous event.
1267-1268: The chief Jewish leader Nachmanides, commonly called "Ramban", made aliyah to Jerusalem in 1267 and established the Ramban Synagogue on Mt. Zion that same year. At the time there was no other active synagogue in the city and the Jewish community had dwindled to perhaps no more than 10 people. Because Nachmanides moved to the city, many other Jews followed suit, which resulted in nearly 700 consecutive years of Jewish presence in Jerusalem until the 1948 Arab-Israeli war when the Jews were forced out of the Old City.

Thank you, Gary! Another wonderful article; sure appears to be a Jubilee year!
ReplyDelete1967+49=2016. That would make 2016-2017 the 50th year. The 50th year is the jubilee year. It would be over already.
ReplyDeleteHey Tom ya, this actually makes sense, if 1967 was the jubilee year. Then the count would start the next year! what do you think?
Deletewow peter i didnt think of that
Deletethank you so much that answers my questions
If 2017-2018 is a Jubilee year - and it certainly appears likely - the "significant event" that I would look for is the rebuilding of the Temple.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone here ever read "The Israel Omen"? If you have, what do you think of Harvey/Irma/Jose/Maria in relation to a possible peace deal in Israel?
I am intrigued by this as they still have till March, right? Someone said God is a very precise Creator. And His precision is proclaimed in the heavens. So too will it be in His return.
DeleteKDC, the Temple will be rebuilt in God's own time. If we're talking about "significant events" within a Jubilee then I'm torn.
DeleteI hope for the rebuilding of the Temple because in my opinion, if there is a sequence of events, then the Temple must be rebuilt before Jesus returns.
On the other hand, if the Temple is rebuilt then Israel must accept the Antichrist, who must show himself as God, yes? That will be a sad, terrible day.
I dearly long for the second coming of Christ, but I dread the day my Jewish brothers accept the Antichrist as their Messiah.
However, it will happen. The Temple will be rebuilt and Israel will hail the Antichrist as Messiah. It's prophesied.
If it MUST happen, then let it happen.
Maranatha. Come, Lord Jesus.
If the Antchrist is there, we will be in Heaven watching the countdown clock for his plunge into the lake of fire.
DeleteHi there, I understand that the Antichrist is the Papacy which has killed some 60 million 'heretics'. The idea of a future Antichrist, a future tribulation period of 3 1/2 of 7 years, etc., is simply Jesuit doctrine which has been continuously promoted (in order to divert attention from Rome). But I agree with 2017 being a Jubilee year, the evidence is just too overwhelming to dismiss that - very good article from Gary. Shalom, Jake
DeleteHere's an interesting bit of information. I read today that the Liberty Bell is inscribed with Leviticus 25:10: "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants thereof." Check it out for yourself.

To answer Tom Ya,
ReplyDeleteYou have to start at the end of the Jubilee which ended in 1968. I know its wierd, but the math is good. As Gary said: from spring to spring. So spring of 67 to spring of 68.
Then start again Aprilish of 68.
This is all part of the Paradigm. By Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. The one thing he said is our type back in Ahabs day is Elijah. We have to be that unchangeable force for Jesus and get back to the Altar of God. Sound familiar? But he failed to mention and not a jab just a thought. If we are to be Elijahs, then shouldn't we also be taken? Oh yeah!...
ReplyDeleteI bought The Paradigm and recently received it but I haven't started it yet. Is it good? Don't tell me!!
DeleteYou are going to say "oh my" 9 times before you get to page 18. It is chilling. Just finished it. No spoilers.
DeleteEnoch and Elijah are both templates for the Church, body of Christ and or Bride. Beautiful!! Maranatha
DeleteHi Gary
ReplyDeleteGary, I really love this website. There aren't many places where I can express my love for Bible prophecy with other Christians who have the same gifting.
ReplyDeleteI'm only sorry I have just recently found it. Thank you.
I wonder if there is an astronomical sign for the Temple we could see?
ReplyDeleteI tend to be a tad skeptical when people base theories on Jubilee year calculations, but at some point you have to admit that the proof is in the pudding.
ReplyDeleteGreg L.
1967 also appears to fulfill the 2300 day/year prophecy that Daniel was given. From the time Gentiles first took over Jerusalem in 334 BC (Believe it was the Greeks) The temple was also believed to be destroyed by the Romans around 67AD...
ReplyDeleteHi Kris, yes 1967 also ends the 'treading down of Jerusalem by the Gentiles' after 42 months (REV 11:2), because Jordan had to give up the Temple Mount, etc. One year of 365.24 days divided by 12 gives you a month of 30.44 days. Multiply 30.44 days by 42 and you get 1278.5 days. If you now use years and subtract 1278.5 years from 1967 you get 688.5 = the year when the Dome of the Rock was built on the Temple Mount, i.e., 688 A.D. Shalom, Jake
DeleteGreat article!
ReplyDeleteI think you missed some of the significance of 1517...
Blood Moon Tetrad 1492-93. Alhambra decree and expulsion of Jews from Spain and Portugal. Many are welcomed into the Ottoman Empire by Suleiman the magnificent. He was very good to the Jewish people. They began to emigrate to Jerusalem in large numbers when the Ottomans regained Jerusalem in 1517. This led him to commit large sums of money to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and much of the city itself in 1535--this after he says he was told to do so after receiving a dream.
That is amazing! So much history we have not been taught. Makes me go hmmmmmm? Thank you for that.
DeleteI side with hey lets call it as we see it. Rev 12 sign done. Next, Jubilee? God needs nothing to take us home. He so chooses to give signs to those who can see. Only those of us, skeptics included are looking because we believe, we are not asleep. The day will not overtake us as a thief in the night. Because we are not the status quo. As the full court press intensifies with apostasy you will see everyone on this site, everyone stand for Christ. We are to be to this nation and the world what Elijah was to Ahab and Jezebel and an apostate Israel. The religious conservatives. Makes Pauls words more clear: after having done all, stand therefor... Time for the full armor of God. GEAR UP!
ReplyDeleteReaders: I hope this help all that ponders when our LORD shall come. Many of nights i wonder over this so try this.
ReplyDeleteThe 1st Blood Red Moon was in April 15, 2014 to September 23, 2017 = 1,260 days
In Daniel 12:12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.
So from April 15,2014 to December 10, 2017 = 1,335 Days
When you used Stellarium, you will see Mercury as the child taken to the throne which is the church as Paul an Apostle of Jesus. Describe in Revelation 12:5
Acts 14:12 “ And they called Barnabas, JUPITER; and Paul, MERCURIUS, because he was the chief speaker.”
I hope this help
I guess we will know when the 1290th day has an event... Interesting that 1260 days gap though...
DeleteThats cool.
DeleteHi Eric,
DeleteThat's interesting. The other day I also realised that it was 3 1/2 years from the sign of the Roman armies surrounding Jerusalem in November 66 A.D. until the start of the siege in April 70 A.D. (whosoever did not pay attention to the sign of the 'abomination of desolation' perished in the city). Shalom, Jake

ReplyDeleteYes it is and may it be filled with the very best the Creator Elohim has for us. Thank you and Happy New Year to you.
DeleteThank you as well and sorry for the late reply.
DeleteSo what now? It’s dark in Jerusalem and Yom Kippur is over. I’m not mocking, because I want this as bad as anyone, but when do we concede that we just honestly don’t know?
ReplyDeleteThe way I understand it...FoA starts at sundown on 9/30 & ends on sundown 10/1.
DeleteI'm watching the Western Wall livecam. They're still blowing the trumpets/shofars (very regularly, almost in every two seconds). The twilight period will be over at 19:46 pm Jerusalem time, it's 7 minutes until then right now.
DeleteFeast of Trumpets started last night (9-29) and ended today (9-30) at sundown. Whenever the big event is, it is not Yom Kippur 2017.
DeleteYip -time to concede it aint the Day of Atonement this year.
DeleteQuestion: why do we look to whether something is or isn't happening based on Jerusalem time? If were in the Millennial kingdom with Jerusalem as the capital, that would be understandable. However, we're still in the church age; all nations and peoples in the world, may be watching for Christ's rapture of the church. For me, no day is ever over until the last time zone is accounted for. For example, it's still Yom Kippur in American Samoa until 1:25am EST on October 1. Just a thought. Sure, this one day may not be the time God selects for the rapture of His church - I just like the thought of Him using every possible second of every day; it would seem to be in His grace and merciful nature to save and redeem as many as possible before his coming wrath.
DeleteThe feasts are the Lord's feasts...they're just celebrated by the Jews. They're His first and foremost, and Jerusalem is His city, so I think that's what the focus is on what time it is there, but I understand your point....and I don't discount it. It has to occur at sometime, and that will be at varying points across the world. FWIW, torahcalendar.com has Yom Kippur running from sunset 9/30 to sunset 10/1. There are multiple calendars, so depending on which one you use, you can get a different date. As Will Was pointing out, it's in His control, and He can come when He wants.
DeleteBeth, I'm certainly not a scholar but I do not think it's quite time for the Rapture. I'm in the great minority on this website.
DeleteAs I read Revelation 6 and 7 - the opening of the seven-sealed Scroll/Beginning of Sorrows - I see what appears to be the Rapture in Revelation 7:9-11. If I'm correct then the Church must remain on earth for the opening of the first six seals.
Obviously the seven-sealed Scroll has not been opened yet. Therefore we are still in the Last Days of the Church Age.
Not time for the Harpazo yet.
Taken from website about how Yom Kippur is observed...."After night has fallen, the closing Neilah service ends with the resounding cries of the Shema prayer: “Hear O Israel: G‑d is our L‑rd, G‑d is one.” Then the congregants erupt in joyous song and dance (a Chabad custom is to sing the lively “Napoleon’s March”), after which a single blast is blown on the shofar, followed by the proclamation, “Next year in Jerusalem.”
ReplyDeleteSo with the day of Atonement having come and gone, we can now possibly switch our attention to a few other things:
ReplyDelete- feast of Tabernacles in a few days: People have previously aligned the booths feast as being aligned with the Church being called to 'come, enter into thy chambers...' from Isaiah 27. These mini-studies we are doing on the feasts are building our understanding as to what they are and why they exist, so I don't think we should stop.
- What a Jubilee year might hold: The entire 2017/18 "Jubilee" could be considered from a wider perspective of events that we may (or may not) see, the most obvious one being the building of the temple, peace deals bw Israel/Palestine, rise of candidates for the AC (outside of Erdogan Macron etc), and ongoing alliances being formed bw Turkey/Russia/Iran as part of the Ezekiel 38/39 prep. Mark Richardson (four signposts.com) has some awesome perspectives on current middle east events and how they could relate to Daniel 8 and Dan 11.
- We can discuss/look at the rise of other false religions, and the role that they are currently playing in wider geopolitical circles that may have a spiritual influence. For example, the Pope is incredibly close to being ousted as a heretic by his own people. An interesting one to note/watch.
- judgement for America. While there has been plenty of talk about Hurricanes etc being a prep for rapture, perhaps we need to come back to first principles as to God bringing judgment (or giving early warning of) significant short term judgment coming to USA cf the rest of the world, and what the Christians in America need to do to prep for a nation wide calamity.
- pre-wrath...yes here we go. Plenty of good articles on this site about pre-trib rapture. Why not give the opportunity to present an alternative perspective, and what is might mean for Christians who have to live through the first part of the tribulation. And without sounding sarcastic, lets ask Joel Richardson (a pre-wrather) to do an article on pre-wrath beliefs. Others - such as Jacob Prasch - even though he was a little inappropriate in his comments on the 23 Sept sign, has some phenomenal information on an intra-seal belief. Giving these individuals (I was about to say scoffers, but God gave me that uneasy feeling...) a platform may actually help heal some of the rifts in the Christian community, and give an opportunity for readers to understand why we believe what we believe. It wouldn't hurt, and would actually build our understanding of what it means to be a 'good berean'.
Anyway, some thoughts.
Ryan
Ryan,
Delete"Why not give the opportunity to present an alternative perspective, and what is might mean for Christians who have to live through the first part of the tribulation." As for me, based on my studies of Scripture and based on my current knowledge of the character of the Lord, I can only disagree with the notion of the pre-wrath/mid-trib rapture, that's the reason why I wouldn't ponder on it as an alternative perspective for the Body of Christ. (I believe so that he tribulation believers are another group of people.)
Nora - imagine what the outcome would have been had Martin Luther followed the same reasoning...
Delete
DeleteMy reasoning is this: All members of the Church, all who belongs to Christ accepted His perfect atonement for all our sins. All our sins were judged and punished at the cross by Father God. With the appearance of the Antichrist – who is the rider of the white horse followed by all the other horsemen of the apocalypse of the first four seals- the Lord’s judgment begins on this world. Those who have already accepted Christ’s sacrifice on their behalf will be taken out of this world before the judgment begins. All Age of Grace believers aka Church Age believers are part of the Body of Christ which won’t remain here to be punished again.
Nora, totally agree with you. Through and Through, as far as I know my German brothers' Martin Luthers writings, his firm position and ability to stand in his faith without waivering he would have answered the same as Nora did: OSAS and period. Satan go away. He would even have used much more "hard speech" on this like we do here as we're only used to some wishy-washy tolerance style to express ourselves. If Luther was commenting on this website even true brethren would have banned him already for how he talked telling the truth.
DeleteRegarding your mentioning of watching the other signs of convergence around us I certainly agree with you. Now as Rev12:1 has been obviously fulfilled on FoT exact I guess we don't have to observe the other Feasts until 2024 as they will be probably fulfilled then for and with Israel at the Second Coming, after the tribulation. Rapture might nevertheless still happen in 2017. But now we should also focus on Israel in Rev12:2 such as on the "dragon sign" Rev12:3-4 forming in space according to e.g. Planet X physicist Dr. Claudia Albers on YouTube, very interesting! Much blessings to both of you...
My point behind the ML comment, was simply that if ML had remained dogmatically aligned with early Augustine teachings, there would have been no debate nor discussion on reformation perspectives.
DeleteSticking to your guns is fine, except when it comes at the expense of unity. We often walk a fine line between ignorance and arrogance in our beliefs. As Lance has aptly pointed out previously, ‘this is not a matter of salvation’. People smarter than you and I have held the same central tenets of Salvation, while being diametrically opposed on eschatology. Walking in unity as believers does not necessarily mean holding unified perspectives on ‘some’ biblical truths, particularly ‘murky’ ones at that, but being as the bereans were, examining closely what the bible says on particular matters, and using the bible to interpret the bible regardless of what our emotions are telling us.
For example, I recall my favourite bible teacher once saying “what kind of a groom would beat up his fiancé prior to marriage” with his pre-trib perspective (sorry – don’t quote me, but its along those lines). Even though I had a pre-trib perspective at the time, the comment bothered me. Why, because “What kind of God would allow his bride to be beat up TODAY by his number one enemy, while he stands idly by”. Call modern day tribulation what you like, the bride of Christ is being tortured, shamed, killed every day, and when unbelievers throw out an emotional one-liner about a ‘loving God’ similar to one noted above, we answer back about a righteous/just God who respects free-will etc. We provide a biblical answer to an emotional question. Yes those of us who choose to respond to an emotional questioning of what God might or might not do in the trib, we are ridiculed or questioned in our beliefs by yet another emotional response, rather than through Scipture.
Here is what we need to be doing…be open! Be open to discussions on alternative perspectives on difficult theological questions, as that is how we learn in the first place…that is how unbelievers become believers in the first place! They engage in a conversation as a matter of interest and humility, and on the odd occasion, just to have a good ‘fight’. Regardless of the rationale, learning takes place (if coupled with discernment) and we become more knowledgeable about the mysteries of God, and are appropriately prepared should we be (shock horror) proven ‘wrong’.

DeleteThrough and Through,
DeleteWhen the Lord in His Word is so clear about something like, for example *our eternal security in Christ*, there's no need to consider "alternative perspectives". Regarding the notion of the pre-tribulation rapture, I see it more and more how it is connected in a vital way to our standing in Christ, in the light of His great love and mercy toward us. How it is connected to all what He’s done for us. That’s why I’m not accepting any alternative perspectives to both of these important subjects. Justifying the notion of the Church going through the tribulation period aka Daniel’s 70th Week (or a part of it) because Christians are already persecuted is not working in my opinion. Yes, believers have tribulations in this world, it has always been like that because it’s a wicked, fallen place! But Daniel’s 70th Week has a different and very important aspect: it’s the time of the Lord’s judgment and punishment of the world! In my previous comments on this topic (on the rev12 daily website) I explained my reasoning in details why the Church won’t go under His punishment and judgment of the world! (Sorry, but I wouldn’t like to repeat myself here.)

I read here that the epicenter of the earthquake in Mexico was a town called Raboso which means red wine grape and also means angry. The Second Coming of Christ is to be a wine press of wrath and blood. I think Gary wrote the article so credit goes to him. I was thinking that the Feast of Tabernacles is a Harvest Feast involving grapes and lasts eight days. That's a lot of days and hours. And maybe the Last Trump should be on the last Feast. I am still expecting Jesus to rescue us out of this rotten world. Everyday, I find yet more to hate about it. Big things and little.
ReplyDeleteIf even the Redskins are kneeling during the Anthem, then I am truly done.
ReplyDeletePlease....much disappointment when the 24th came, yet my faith was increased. Then we had the 30th as a new hope. When tomorrow comes and we are still here, my faith will be increased again.
ReplyDeleteSame with the FOT. My faith will increase again afterwards.
I am seeing exactly what I had stated, disappointment. I really feel this undermines our faith when dates come and go...but prophesied events that must happen, is what I am waiting for.
We have many months for this to play out if it started right now.
I really feel that the US must and will be taken out as its the main road block to the one world government and the AC to come to power. When I see the AC arrive, do the abomination of desolation, we still have tribulation to go through.
I totally believe in Jesus Christ and the rapture, and do my best to be ready always, as I could die the next minute.
AMAZING times we are living in, and the moral decay in our country, our blasphemy against God's laws has to be horrid to God. My faith increases the more decay I see as it just proves the Bible more and more.
wow great video on why 2017 is NOT a jubilee year and it explains in detail how to determine when it is a jubilee year. Check it out.

2Tim, that article claims that:
Delete1. Revelation must be chronological, so Rev. 12 must be Mid-Trib or later, because Revelation 11 is Mid-Trib or later.
2. However, Rev. 12:1-2 is Jesus as an infant and Rev. 12:5 is Jesus' Ascension... views stated over and over, but easily refuted in Brother Gary's article, "Why The Revelation 12 Sign Can't Be Debunked." Obviously, Jesus didn't need to flee Satan, and His Ascension wasn't a Harpazo event.
3. The article was written six years ago.
Encouraging our brothers and sisters shouldn't involve re-hashing easily refuted, tired arguments, but rather encouragements to continue looking up, for His redemption DOES draw near!!

ReplyDeleteAs expected, there will be a Full Moon as the Feast of Tabernacles/ Sukkot begins this week as all but FoT begin/happen on a Full Moon. My 10yo son was talking about or rather envisioning the "full moon" ahead. While this is known and "scheduled," it occurred to me (and possible other Watchman too, I think it has) maybe there is a surprise ahead.
ReplyDeleteSo with this instinct or tugging, this morning I asked my 10yo son about the full moon he is envisioning. Specifically, I asked what "color" was the moon he had envisioned. Without hesitation he said, "Red."
The Blood Moons of 2014-2015 fell on Passover|Sukkot|Passover|Sukkot.
Could we witness a "surprise" Blood Moon on Sukkot of 2017? One which NASA (Not A *Space* Agency) does not have scheduled on its books? Does God have some mysteries ahead? Will a Blood Moon symbolize | begin something?
Is the world (even more than the past few weeks) primed for the evil one, the man of lawlessness to arise? 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.
Pastor Steve Ciccolanti provides a good point|perspective. God may be waiting to see what the USA does in these days following all the "natural" signs provided (to the US and the world). Of course this does not leave out ALL of the human|society signs, like the internal strife within the USA, Vegas, N. Korea, etc...
ReplyDeleteAs we are on the doorsteps of the 3rd and Final Fall Feast and 40+ days from the 1st of Elul Total Eclipse, it would seem God is patiently waiting to see what "choices" the USA makes...
Option 1] The USA repents (like Ninevah did after seeing the signs) and leads the world in Revival, extending the Age of Grace.
-OR-
Option 2] The USA continues as is... and thus, receives what is has been sown: Judgment and leads the world into tribulation.

Wow! Option 1 sounds good 😊 to me!
DeleteI read these today:
Delete2 Chronicles 2:14: IF my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, THEN I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
James 4:10: Humble yourselves before the LORD and He will lift you up.
Proverbs 22:4: Humility and fear of the LORD bring wealth and honor and life.
James 4:6: God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
Proverbs 11:2: When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.
1 Peter 5: 6-7: Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
I'm no longer thinking that this is a Jubilee year. I came that conclusion buy watching a video that was pointed out by someone in these comments and then did some digging to see what that accuracy may be. 1406 BC can be found by two seperate paths in the Bible. One is off of the date found for the Exodus using the 480 years concerning Solomans temple taking you to 1446. Adding 40 years in the desert you get 1406. Next you use Ezekiels Jubilee and you get 573 BC going back 17 jubilees (17 X 49) not (17 X 50) and you get 1406 BC. Going forward from there at 49 years each and taking into account no 0 year you get 2024/25 as the next Jubilee. Note that it really would be Jesus' second coming on a Jubilee not a rapture event. So, we are close by this calculation to a pre-trib rapture.
ReplyDeleteDuring my looking I also noted that from 1406 BC which is when the Israelites were told to start counting for the jubilee to 2024/25 is 70 Jubilees. That made me go back to a previous study / dream that explained that the measuring rod in Ezekiels dream stands for the age of man (70 years). 70 years X the 7 rods width and 7 rods height gives 3430 years (70 Jubilees). Also, Daniels 70 7's can also be read as his 70 Jubilees but I don't see where in Daniel you would know to start the 70 jubilees at 1406 so I am not weighing on that so much.
I Googled and saw that 3430 has been used before (wrongly) since we are still here but that was after I had the dream that led me to scripture. So, either I dug into this in my past and forgot causing the dream or God helped point me back to what I had missed in the past.
Anon, I have to agree with you. I wanted it to be a Jubilee year. It fit our narrative so nicely and made it seem more credible. The fact is we honestly don't know when the Jubilee years are for a variety of reasons, not the least of which the Israelites wondered in the dessert for 40 Yeats so this impacted the time their descendants even acquired their land properties. We we would love for the Six Day War to be Jubilee year but we honestly don't know that. It simply fits into our narrative nicely. The most important fact of all, at least in my mind, is that the Jubilee must occur in the year of our Lord's Second Coming, in order for the world to be returned to its lawful owner, Christ. If this occurred 7 years earlier, it makes the Jubilee impossible at the Second Coming, and that makes absolutely no theological sense to me.
DeletePlease note that I have the thought that 1967 was not a jubilee. Could have been the 1974 war that was the Jubilee just like in 1925 there was an event just as powerful as the 1917 event. May have put to much into those years and missed the others.
ReplyDeleteAs a protestant I have felt anger over Albigensians & Waldensians deaths in the distant past. I would like to reason with Roman Catholics. Some Catholics do not like Pope Francis for his opposition with traditions & doctrines. Doctrinal discussions must happen. Now is that time before prophetic events get out of control world wide.
ReplyDeleteI like Charlie in DC comments about Ninevah as compared to America. I do like Steve Cioccolanti that man has insights, I am his student.
ReplyDeleteThe blood moons always occurred on Passover & Tabernacles alternately, and as there are always 180 days between those feasts, we arrive at 1260 days between the start of the last tetrad on Passover 2014 and Tabernacles 2017 (the Jewish calendar added a leap month in 2016 which is unbiblical). So there maybe a connection to the "abomination of desolation" set up on day 1290 (beginning of November) and deliverance on day 1335 on Hanukkah - just a thought.
