God is the one God and the God of absolutely perfect timing.
God is done with sin. He is coming to judge the world. It is time. Bold statement - I know.
Psalm 75:7
It is God who judges:
He brings one down, he exalts another.
At the right time, when people in Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, Jordan and Iran were ready to pursue change (did they all notice that their Muslim leaders were tyrants-perhaps the issue is not Dictator versus Democracy, but rebellion versus God).
God is ready for a change and He does indeed work all things out for good (Romans 8:28). I can imagine God saying I have kept you from evil, but the lid is off - go your own way.
God is allowing these countries to line up in opposition to His will for Israel. When they come against Israel they will be destroyed.
Matthew 21:44
He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed.
In today's headlines we see another possible alignment.

Is God ready to bring Berlusconi down? He is changing leadership in Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and others - apparently.
Who will replace Berlusconi?
It is commonly believed that the anti-christ will come from what was the Roman world.

Daniel 7:7-8 speak of the 4th beast
I know this - God is alive and well, nothing is an accident, God is soverign. Kings fall and kingdoms pass away through Him - not a sparrow falls with out Him - see also Job chapter 1.
