Oh yeah... and a massive wildfire in Texas has scorched 20,000 acres, burned down 30 homes, caused the evacuation of two entire towns, and killed a firefighter:

Global food prices are now 36 percent higher than they were this time last year. 44 million MORE people are now in abject poverty.
