Tornado of Biblical proportions just destroyed Joplin, Missouri
At least 89 people died in this single event as the tornado tore through the middle of town, leveling every school, business, church, and residential building in a 6 mile by half-mile area.
The tornado that struck Joplin was so powerful that debris from the city was found 70 miles away.
More tornadoes struck the Midwest yesterday and today, including a tornado that struck downtown Minneapolis killing at least several more.
UPDATE: Death toll now AT LEAST 116 from this ONE tornado. 75% of Joplin is gone.
