His Thoughts

Isaiah 55:8-9

“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Do you ever wonder what He is thinking?

Ridiculous to try and imagine. How could I possible know His thoughts? I can't.

Thinking about seeing Him face-to-face. What will the be like me. As Mercy Me says, "I can only Imagine".

Thinking about the Rapture and our first image of Him. Our first words to Him.

Will my words be ridiculous? Does the quality of my stance or words make any real difference? Certainly - Not.

Still I wonder and I had a thought.

I will be overwhelmed with Joy. To be home where I was made to be.

I think God will be full of Love and Joy.

Wonder if while I am lost in my enthusiasm, that He will simultaneously have deep seated heart break?

A church that failed to reach the culture with the transforming life shattering message. His one request "Go and make disciples" - practically dead in its tracks. A world gone mad. The spirit has left the planet.

Billions will suffer. Billions will be condemned.

The judgement that He suffered so long to delay and avoid will be closer that every before.

2 Peter 3:8-9

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

He will certainly love like a hurricane and laugh with those who laugh, but will He also grieve.

Will any say thank you and will any acknowledge His pain and suffering.

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty...The One who was. The One who is. And the One who is still to come.
