This solar flare(s) can disrupt the power grid, satellite telecommunications, cell phones, electronics, including your car, your home, your bank, your grocer, your doctor, your dentist, your employer, your hospital and your gas station.

Airplanes, Ships, Submarines, Space Stations and all those who have a critical need for electricity are at risk.  Not a good day to be on life support or in surgery.

Interesting that without electricity we would be moved back over a hundred years and we don't have the infrastructure, skills or preparations to survive without all our nice little conveniences.
