NISAN 1, In the Year of Our LORD 6000!

We've known that we were fairly close to the 6000th year since Creation (simply by adding up the ages of the patriarchs in the book of Genesis), but according to TorahCalendar.com, today is literally the 1st day of the 1st month of the 6000th year.

In six days the Lord created the heavens and the earth and rested on the seventh. Will man strive for 6000 years and then rest in a Sabbath millennium? I hope so!
