Total Solar Eclipse to Plunge Europe and Russia Into Darkness

For over an hour all of Europe and most of Russia will be plunged into darkness during the total solar eclipse of March 20th.  Temperatures will rapidly drop 6C / 9F over a period of only 30 minutes.

Other areas of the world that will see at least part of the eclipse include most of North Africa, all of Israel, the northern Middle East and some of western and central Asia.
