75 Days From Star of Bethlehem's Reemergence to Rosh Hashanah
From the June 30th/July 1st possible reemergence of the Star of Bethlehem to September 13th, the first day of Rosh Hashanah is 75 days. This is interesting for several reasons:
1. First, as one article describes it, the conjunction was very, very close, but not quite as close as the original Star of Bethlehem on June 17th, 2 BC around the time of Christ's first coming. It is almost as if God is saying "Jesus is not here yet, but is very, very, very close".
2. Second, the Bible describes a generation as "seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty...they are soon gone, and we fly away." (Psalm 90:10). According to the Bible the average generation would be 75 years (70 + 80 / 2 = 75). This is an intriguing parallel.
3. Each half of the tribulation is 1260 days, but the second half has an additional 75 days. Obviously the 75 days we are in now are not what Daniel 12:12 is referencing, but it is an interesting parallel or bookend.
