First Philistine Cemetery Ever Discovered
Archaeologists working near Ashkelon in Israel have unearthed a Philistine cemetery for the first time, finding over 200 skeletons. DNA samples have been taken and researches will be able to identify which ethnic group is most closely related to them today.
