The Prophecy of the Fool
"Because the world has never been less violent, healthier, better educated, more tolerant, with more opportunity for more people, and more connected than it is today," Obama proclaimed yesterday (source).
Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan." Proverbs 29:12 - If a ruler listens to falsehood, all his officials will be wicked.
We live in a world dominated by loud fools who say "that what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right; that black is white and white is black; bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter." Isaiah 5:20
In a twisted way, they can turn everything you say against you. If you rebuke them for their foolishness, they have no understanding. Their pride and arrogance is impenetrable. The center of their world is their own intelligence.
Proverbs 18:6-7 Fools’ words get them into constant quarrels; they are asking for a beating. The mouths of fools are their ruin; they trap themselves with their lips.
I think the above proverb explains why right minded people are becoming increasingly agitated. Normally peaceful people are on the verge of exploding; we see it everywhere. Law abiding people are furious over police murders and over the agitators that commit the crimes. The overwhelming evidence of Hillary Clinton's crimes is baffling, yet her supporters are like Stepford Americans, no longer able to discern right from wrong. Islam is a violent dangerous religion, yet it is the Evangelical Christian that is demonized.
The only arbiter of truth in this time is the Holy Spirit. We must constantly filter the externals through the sieve of the Holy Scriptures and through the discernment of the Holy Spirit, otherwise we will be deceived. We will be in danger of engaging with fools.
Thus, we are living in a time where the Prophecy of the Fool is being fulfilled before our eyes. Scripture tells us, "For there is already at work the mystery of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:7), the ultimate deception that is sent from the Lord for those who are perishing. (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11)". This will not get better, indeed as we quickly rush toward the Rapture, it will get worse. Friends, cover yourself in prayer, ask the Holy Spirit for discernment, do not waste your energy on the deceived fools but instead through your testimony be ready to give an answer for the hope that lives within you.
