In Dramatic Vote, World Heritage Committee Votes To Sever Jewish Ties To Temple Mount

We mentioned yesterday that another vote regarding Jewish ties to Jerusalem would be held today.  The motion in the UNESCO World Heritage Committee passed 10 to 2 with 8 abstentions.  This follows on the heels of last week's general vote in UNESCO that also severed Jewish ties.

The Word of the LORD concerning Jerusalem:

On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. - Zechariah 12:3

The Word of the LORD concerning the nations trying to divide Israel:

I will gather all nations
and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
There I will put them on trial
for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel,
because they scattered my people among the nations
and divided up my land. - Joel 3:2
