Erdogan Threatens To Leave NATO, Join Shanghai Cooperation Organization

President Erdogan of Turkey is threatening to leave the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and join the Russia and China led Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).  As the largest standing army among European NATO members, the loss of Turkey would significantly alter the balance of power in Eurasia against U.S. allies.
