Why Are The Elites Frantically 'Prepping'?

Charisma News has an article discussing the frantic and lavish doomsday preparation that thousands of society's "elites" are participating in.  I think this is fascinating and very revealing.  Before you read the article, keep in mind these passages: Isaiah 2:10-22, 1 Thessalonians 5:3, and Revelation 6:15-17.

I've written before about this doomsday construction boom and I think it ties in perfectly well with the lateness of the hour.
