Donald Trump Becomes 45th President Of The United States
Today, the 44th President of the United States left Washington, D.C. on board Marine One for the last time and Donald Trump was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts as the 45th President.
Franklin Graham was invited to lead a prayer at the inauguration and for the first time in many years the uncompromised Gospel of Jesus Christ was heard by the entire nation:
Newly sworn in President Donald Trump delivered what was the shortest inaugural address since Jimmy Carter and in it he said this:
We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the earth from the miseries of disease...
Brothers and sisters, to me I see a God who is sovereign over all, including the very words we speak, saying to the country and the world that the time is short and the last trump is about to sound, a great sign is shortly to occur in space, and the final millennium is about to begin when Christ will reign, putting an end to the disease of sin. The mystery of our redemption draws nigh:
Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. - 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
Jeff wisely pointed out that the massive tower collapse yesterday in Iran occurred on 1/19. Over 15 years ago two towers collapsed in New York City on 9/11. These tragedies are almost like bookends on an era and now a new era is about to begin.
To top all of this off, yesterday morning before the inauguration, Donald Trump and Mike Pence attended a church service at St. John's Episcopal Church where Dallas pastor Robert Jeffress said these incredibly prophetic words:
Today─one year later─God has raised you and Vice-President-elect Pence up for a great, eternal purpose.
When I think of you, President-elect Trump, I am reminded of another great leader God chose thousands of years ago in Israel. The nation had been in bondage for decades, the infrastructure of the country was in shambles, and God raised up a powerful leader to restore the nation. And the man God chose was neither a politician nor a priest. Instead, God chose a builder whose name was Nehemiah.
And the first step of rebuilding the nation was the building of a great wall. God instructed Nehemiah to build a wall around Jerusalem to protect its citizens from enemy attack. You see, God is NOT against building walls!
And the Old Testament book of Nehemiah records how Nehemiah completed that massive project in record time—just 52 days.
It was in the days of Ezra and Nehemiah that the temple was rebuilt in Jerusalem and we are again on the verge of just such a construction project.
It has also come to my attention through the Daily Crow that on Inauguration Day the Nasdaq closed at 5555.33 and Donald Trump's home state of New York had a Win 4 Lottery with winning numbers of 6666. Go figure.
