ReplyDeleteI've been watching for the Lord's return since 1978, and there has never ever been anything like this. In the 80's and 90's we saw the Berlin wall fall and the Soviet Union break apart. At that time I remember thinking it won't happen in my lifetime.
Life looked to be good as far as the eye could see. Then everything changed on 9/11. Here we are, in 2017, with our faces pressed against the glass, and the Tribulation ready to explode on the other side! Wow! Unbelievable!

thank you for your great article. i am having difficulty connecting Revelation 11 two woes and two witnesses that come before Revelation 12. We did not see two witnesses yet and i do not think we are in the middle of woes. i appreciate your explanation. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi unknown, I'm skimming through articles and stumbled across your comment. Revelation wasn't written chronologically. There's too much going on for John to see and write every detail that's happening at any given moment. Revelation shows events that are happening in Heaven, then jumps back in "time" and shows events that were happening on earth at the same time, and jumps back again to show other events that were also unfolding at that same time. Basically, it isn't written so that Revelation 11 necessarily HAS to come before Revelation 12. In fact, given the structure of the book, it would seem that Revelation 12 is one of those points where John jumped back "in time" to what was going on toward the beginning or at the start of the Tribulation.

ReplyDeleteWhat if Leo - the Lion of the tribe of Judah, is the SON of God clothing the woman. What if there is not a rapture as some believe, but Heaven is enshrouding the Woman, the Remnant Church to shine as the Light while the world goes into deep darkness. What if the birth is the birthing of something New, God (Jupiter) has been producing sovereignly. Sign of not a Catching Away, but a unity of Christ in his Bride in fullness. A Bride in His image. Therefore the Dragon waits to devour what has come forth out of the woman.
