Pentecost: The Second Trimester Is Over
Today is Pentecost Sunday, when Christians around the world celebrate the day when the Church received the Holy Spirit. It's commonly said that the Church was born on Pentecost, nearly 2,000 years ago, but it may be more accurate to say the Church was conceived on Pentecost.
Today also happens to mark something else: exactly 28 weeks to the day since Jupiter entered the womb of the constellation Virgo. Today marks the end of the second trimester. The second trimester of a 40 week pregnancy ends after 27 weeks, but a 42 week gestation as we see with this sign, would have the end of its second trimester at the end of 28 weeks. 14 weeks to go until birth and just 16 weeks until the full Revelation 12 Sign appears.

ReplyDeleteNotice this sign has a long pregnancy because the Lord is longsuffering and merciful and wishes all to come to repentance!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've been thinking the same thing! God is patient. God is kind. He gives plenty of warning and evidence because He wants as many to come in as will.
DeleteGood one!!!!
