Emmanuel Macron Consolidates Power, Desires To Govern Like "Jupiter"
The Bible makes clear that the man of lawlessness (a.k.a. the antichrist) will not be revealed until the Restrainer is removed (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7-8). The traditional view is that the Restrainer is the Holy Spirit-indwelt Church. Thus, no one will know for sure who the antichrist is until the rapture occurs.
That being said, we can speculate and it looks like the new French President Emmanuel Macron is throwing his hat into the ring for antichrist candidate. He fits the basic list of requirements: of Roman descent (Daniel 9:26), wants to divide Israel (Daniel 9:27, Joel 3:2), and as a secular lapsed Catholic, gives no regard to any god (Daniel 11:37). His personality certainly fits the part.
But he also fits in some other peculiar ways:
1. He was recently quoted saying he wants to govern France "like Jupiter" and wants his administration to be "Jupiterian". Though social media was quite fired up after Macron's statement, it hasn't cost him in the polls. His party won over 60% of Parliamentary seats, giving France's youngest president ever an ironclad grip on power in a way no modern French president has had. Jupiter was the chief god in the pagan Roman pantheon. Connecting himself with that particular god is in effect a statement that he wants to rule above every god (Daniel 11:36). It is also a peculiar homage to the ancient Roman Empire, since Jupiter was specific to Rome. The pagan god's Greek equivalent was Zeus.
2. Unlike most European and western leaders, Macron is technically a prince, which could be a striking and literal fulfillment of Daniel 9:26. The remaining royalty in western and northern Europe have little or no power and are essentially just figureheads, but this particular royal has rocketed to power since he also holds the highest executive office in the country. Because of his party's sweep of legislative elections, some articles are even calling him a monarch who can rule by decree. Even more - he is now the only person on our list of antichrist candidates who is a literal prince. By virtue of the office itself, the French president is the prince of Andorra.
3. Macron has positioned himself as both a French nationalist and a European federalist at a time of great political polarity. Riding the fence is perhaps what has propelled him to such great power so quickly, but make no mistake - Macron clearly wants to revive the faltering E.U. and has voiced support for a federal Europe and a European army. France itself has the first or second most powerful military in the E.U. given that it along with the U.K. are the only two countries in the E.U. that possess nuclear arsenals.
4. Strange numbers. Macron assumed office on May 14th - Israel's 69th birthday, or just two days after 70 prophetic years since Israel became a nation. The fact that he rose to power in the same year the Tribulation might begin and just a few short months before a heavenly sign featuring Jupiter as centerpiece, is telling. On December 21st of this year Macron will turn 40 exactly 40 days after the 77,777th day since Napoleon's coronation. It was widely reported that Macron won the French election with 66.06% of the vote. In addition, he will be 39 years, 9 months and 3 days old on 9/23. The word "Emmanuel" appears only once in the New Testament, which happens to be the 23rd verse. Credit to Daily Crow for finding some of these amazing numbers.
5. With the name of "Emmanuel", Macron could falsely claim that he is the fulfillment of the prophecy given in Isaiah 7:14. His last name stands out, as well. As a noun, "macron" means "a written or printed mark..." Will this false Emmanuel require a mark to be written or printed on people's hands or heads (Revelation 13:16-17)? The name "Macron" was also used in ancient history by a man who foreshadowed the antichrist - one Ptolemy Macron.

ReplyDeleteYes, I was bewildered by his statement. Very strange to compare oneself to a pagan god and even stranger that the particular god referenced is Jupiter, which happens to be a big part of this year's REV12SIGN.
DeleteOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ok, and then they are putting the Russian 'Mark' fake star up this month, can this get any more obvious?
ReplyDeletewhat is the Russian Mark? please
DeleteLet’s hold our horses here.
ReplyDelete“The Bible makes clear that the man of lawlessness (a.k.a. the antichrist) will not be revealed until the Restrainer is removed (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 7-8).”
So why then this guy? First it was Solana, then Juan Carlos, then William of Wales (whose father has of course the anti-christ's coat of arms, right?), then the Greek Alexis Tsiprias, then Kushner.
While the above statements in your article can seem poignant, my point is that is it an ordinary political person who will be up for this? ‘The people of the prince who is to come’ proves thing. Moreover, is Satan's great finale really a pip-squeak politician in a suit? Working his way up to promotion? Does Macron look like a 'king of fierce countenance'? This character is going to be Satan himself, as the Messiah is God, so he is currently nowhere near here, not until he descends to Earth personally. He comes down after he is kicked out.
The Jews expect him to come riding in on the clouds. What better to way to imitate the 2nd Coming? Remember, this guy appears with lying signs and wonders. His arrival is described with the Greek words 'energeia plane', which means a wonder or marvel that causes people to be astonished or astounded. We all know what could cause that. His arrival must be monumental and it must be connected to the powers of the air in such a way that he can cause fire or light for himself. No one can make war with this person either.
It tells me he is a total unknown now, and he is coming from the skies at the appointed time, probably after he is expelled with his rebel host, and probably near the Temple Mount. Maybe it will not be too dissimilar to the scenes in the film ‘Arrival’ with Amy Adams.

DeletePaul wrote 1 & 2 Thessalonians to the believers there, he didn't write it to non-believers and he specifically is explaining things that some believers at some point before the Lord's second coming would see. Just like the Olivet Discourse in Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus was telling His followers what to expect.
DeleteAs far as His revelation, it will come when He walks into the future Temple and declares himself God as the abomination of desolation for all of the world to see as it will be a global event clearly broadcast to the entire world. Remember Revelation 13 says he will "cause" those who want it to receive his mark. It's not going to be forced upon anyone, they will want it or reject it, and for those that reject it the rest will do what they can to rid the world of those who will be resisting the new peace process as extremists.
Rome killed Christians not because they believed in Jesus but because they rejected the Roman pagan system and were considered extremists who were destabilizing the Roman system of government. This is exactly what will take place at that time, people thinking they are doing God a favor will be quick to remove those who still hold to the bible as the complete authority. It's already happening when you go to some churches. Some friends went to a new church and were told they couldn't mention Jesus and sin because they didn't want to offend anyone.
It all comes down to trusting Jesus and knowing He Himself is our salvation and our portion, were supposed to keep our eyes on the thing eternal and not temporal. Be concerned with the work of the gospel, that is what he commanded us to do. Eschatology is a good thing, unless it becomes the predominant thing in a believer's life, and it can tend to creep up into this place if your not careful, knowing from personal experience. Preach the gospel, in season and out of season, be ready to give a defense for what you believe, and most importantly, seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all of the things Jesus taught at His sermon on the mount will be added unto us. That is what He commanded us to do, we should therefore go out and make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples unto the whole world is filled with people speaking the gospel to those who are in darkness.
God bless.
I remind everyone that Hitler was a short man himself, NOT too physically threatening 'Fierce Countenance' can be interpreted different ways doesn't mean he will be like a Rogue Rambo, someone said he looks like a 'Pip'Squeak' so did Hitler and monsters like Hitler and Stalin and Mao don't do the killing themselves they give the ORDERS
DeleteHas anyone done a word study on the word "revealed" ? I just started looking at biblehub, and it is group the phrase "shall have been revealed" a the greek word "apokalyphthē" Are we missing ths point? Revealed , could it me, the time of tribulation beginning? or in other words, we will be out of here before this antichrist starts doing his bad stuff... I keep doing my own searching and praying for insight..
ReplyDeletebarbiosheepgirl is the anonymous asking about the revealed word study...

Deletebarbiosheep girl here, can't figure out how to reply as me...let me clarify my question: I am in 2 Thes 2:3, the word "revealed" at biblehub is grouped in a phrase "shall have been revealed" The greek trnaslation of this phrase is "apokalyphthē" here is the word study 601 apokalýptō (from 575 /apó, "away from" and 2572 /kalýptō, "to cover") – properly, uncover, revealing what is hidden (veiled, obstructed), especially its inner make-up; (figuratively) to make plain (manifest), particularly what is immaterial (invisible). Does it really mean that we won't know? Or is it meaning more like the word "manifest", which to me would mean activated. Not that we wont know, but that he wont start doing the bad stuff prophesied in Revelation...
ReplyDeleteWhere else is this phrase "revealed" used? and in what context? We already see that Rev 12 has been interpretted differently than what we in the forum are thinking, nothing says we can not delve deeper into 2Thes 2:3 after all these centuries..

ReplyDeleteLegitimate candidate! His first name is a take off of Immanuel, "God with us"...his last name, of Greek origin, "long", "big" (macro)
ReplyDeleteNothing says we cannot classify when a person falls into the antichrist type, bible says call evil what it is.
ReplyDelete1 John 2:18 (KJV) Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Agree it's important to look carefully at the words in the scripture regarding the revealing of the AC. 2 thes 2:3 clearly says 'unless' and not 'until' regarding the harpazo. The difference between the two gives proof to a pre or mid/post trib perspective. Nasb and yet gives one of the better interpretations 'Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed'. Wrt the removal of the restrained, taking the Holy Spirit out of the way does not have to mean removal of the church, it simply means removal of the action of restraining the AC from being revealed. It doesn't exclude a possible removal of the church as well, but that is not what it says. So with all that noted, let those of you with wisdom determine the number of the man for his number is 666. We have the Holy Spirit, so I guess that those with wisdom are us???!!!
ReplyDeleteHowever Macron is not an Assyrian nor is he from Turkey so he is likely coming in the spirit of an anti christ, and perhaps a modern day type, but unlikely the antichrist.
Ryan D
Good points Ryan, and Joel Richardson makes a great case for a Middle East, Assyrian, antichrist. I am not totally convinced of his particular viewpoint, although he could be correct, for the following reasons:
Delete-the little horn arose from one of the 4 horns, but the time lapse is not indicated or definite, which to me means the little horn could possibly come much later than the 4
-the 4 horns were Greeks who came to control the 4 main divisions of Alexander's empire, Cassander, Lysimachus, Antigonus (then Seleucid), and Ptolemy....
-Lysimachus, Antigonus (then Seleucid), each controlled land considered to encompass Assyria
-Lysimachus in particular controlled Pergamom, the throne of Satan
-Lysimachus was the "northern" branch, to include what is now northwestern Turkey, Bulgaria, and southern Ukraine
I know this is a bunch of random thoughts, but, it is not so clear to me as is it is to Joel exactly where the geographic origin of the antichrist is, other that I don't think it is Ptolemy!
yeah Joel covers off a number of different scriptures to point to a Turkish Islamic AC. Regarding Daniel 8, Mark Richardson does a marvellous job pointing out the dual prophetic interpretation (historical - Alexander the great, and future regarding the AC...particularly the role of Iran and Turkey). Joel looks at the reliability of got/magog in Eze 38/39, where historical 'Rosh' might have been, and lots of historical facts that all give credence to a Turkish AC.
DeleteAntiochus Epiphanies took over the Seleucid kingdom...Seleucid including modern day Turkey - noted in Daniel 11
5 of the 8 regions noted in Ezekiel 38 were all historically in what modern day Turkey.
Revelation 17 - Joel points to an Islamic nation as the 7th empire, with its ottoman capital being Istanbul (ex Constantinople). Joel's study on Daniel 9 in this regard is totally fascinating regarding who the people were regarding the 'ruler of the people who is to come'...hint, it wasn't just the roman army...
Isaiah and Micah note the AC is assyrian (Chuck Missler has been pondering that the last 40 years!).
Zechariah 9 mentions yavan...Mark Davidson talks at large about yavan as well. Yavan being Turkey.
A biggy...Revelation 2 - Pergamum, where Satan has his seat...pergamum being in Turkey.
Todays news is particularly interesting, with Erdogan pushing for the re-establishment of the caliphate.
Jacob Prasch has an interesting take on the whole thing, but won't go into it here...except to note one hugely interesting point he made. Bible notes that the AC will not be for the desire of woman - noted in Daniel 11:37. Jacob adds another possibility from the normal list, and that is he may be homosexual. Sounds weird etc, however he noted that all 10 of the Roman Emperors were all bisexual or homosexual, a perversion that had become entirely acceptable in historical Rome. I find that extremely interesting, especially considering we are seeing a significant rise in homosexuality in western society, the RCC is full of it, and it is rampant in most Muslim nations.
Anyway...I digress.
Ryan D
Why does he have to come from Turkey or be a Muslim? Because of the chopping heads bit?
DeleteSkousen and Richardson are selling their wares with this trend of a Muslim Antichrist. He will not be a Muslim, for heaven's sake. The Muslims will go against Israel in Gog and Magog and be destroyed, while the Antichrist is their protector. What is so difficult to understand?
"Bible notes that the AC will not be for the desire of woman - noted in Daniel 11:37. Jacob adds another possibility from the normal list, and that is he may be homosexual."
DeleteWhat does homosexuality have to do with anything? Why sexualize things? The desire of women in those days was to give birth to the Messiah. Women naturally want children.
Antichrist will not be Muslim. Esau achieves "Dominion" (Men 27:41KJV) and Esau=Edomites who history calls Cryptos, they are in every religion on Earth which is what A/C does "Come in his own name". Isaac prophesied Esau would live wealthy (fatness of the earth), as priests (dew of heaven) and by War (by the sword). A/C will not desire women hence the LGBTQ+2 movement. Jupiter/Zeus represents Luciferian religion having abducted the Cretan prince Ganymede as an Eagle.
DeleteRegarding 2 Thess 2:3, I have a question about the restrainer being the Holy Spirit. Based on this interpretation, does it mean then that the people who got saved AFTER the rapture will not have the Holy Spirit in them? Otherwise, technically, the Holy Spirit will still be here on earth, so how is He not still exerting a restraining force on the antichrist?
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question. It's not to say the omnipresent Holy Spirit will somehow disappear from the earth. He will still be here, but the only people He indwells are Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ (i.e. the Church). It's interesting to read 2 Thess. 2 after reading Rev. 12 with fresh eyes - especially in light of what's been revealed in these last few years regarding the male child.
DeleteRegarding those who will come to faith after the rapture, there is a lot of speculation. Most pre-trib scholars that I've studied regard the rapture to mark a significant dispensational shift where the Holy Spirit will no longer permanently indwell people on earth, but will "rest upon them" as He did in the Old Testament.
Believers then will need to remain faithful in their testimony of Christ and refuse the mark at all costs.
Agree. John the baptist was another interesting one where Luke 1 notes he would 'be filled with the holy spirit even before his birth'...before Jesus ascended into heaven. The Holy Spirit will be around, but as you note above, likely to cover the believers rather than indwelling. However I have heard another interesting perspective on this, which is the role of the Holy Spirit noted in John 16:8 "And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment". So the Holy Spirit has multiple roles. He is to convict the world..., he is to be for believers for comfort/wisdom etc. Rev 16: 9 "Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory". Why did they not repent??? they believed a strong delusion, yes, but perhaps the Holy Spirit was also not operating in his role of convicting the world of unrighteousness etc.
DeleteIts all hugely interesting, and it annoys me that more Christians are not coming to sites like this and reading the content carefully. The majority of NZers I talk to about Rev 12 simply remember the old 1980s where they got it wrong, and as a result, are choosing not to research any of this further...very concerning!
Ryan D
I have recently started to consider that the restrainer refers to The True Church (indwelt by the Holy Spirit) and not The Holy Spirit Himself, because like Gary said The Holy Spirit is omnipresent. The verse also makes more sense to me that the antichrist is revealed after the church is removed/raptured, perhaps we take the dragons place in the heavens.
DeleteThe Holy Spirit being Omnipresent is partially true. The Holy Ghost is available to anyone who asks JESUS for a Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire. If one does not ask for it, it will not be given. This is the big danger in most Protestant Churches. "Desolation" means "Void of God"; worship of the Abomination (Mark of the Beast) will cause Desolation.

ReplyDeleteDear editors,
ReplyDeleteI would suggest to remove Obama (laughable), Trudeau, pipsqueak Kushner, from your candidate list. He cannot be a Muslim, so I advise also Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. And Putin? How can a man whose nation attacks Israel in Gog Magog war be their protector?
These are like Bozo the Clown.
Is it significant that the G7, which just met back in May has 7 member countries now (They kicked Russia out in May 2017) and is represented by 10 people?
ReplyDeletehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_of_Seven#List_of_summits
Go to the "leaders" section at the bottom and count the number of 'heads of government' there are: 10. The number of nations: 7
The EU apparently does not count as a nation for purposes of the 'G7'...
One thing I see come up frequently about the Antichrist is the idea that he cannot be revealed until after the Rapture. So, he can't be anyone we know now. Well, not so fast. This is an excerpt from something I wrote four years ago:
ReplyDelete* * * * *
The problem lies in the interpretation of the word "revealed." The Greek word translated "revealed" here is a form of the verb apokalupto (to reveal), which is the exact same word from which we get the noun "apocalypse" (something revealed; a revealing of things). That's exactly why the book of Revelation is also known as the Apocalypse, which opens with the words "The Revelation of Jesus Christ."
In fact, it's the horrific things described within the book of Revelation that made the English word "apocalypse" synonymous with cataclysmic events or the end of the world, although that's not what it originally meant.
Apokalupto means to reveal something that has been hidden or covered, but it is used in two different senses:
1. To reveal something in the sense of "first you don't see it, then you do."
Ex. "The magician revealed a chihuahua from his hat."
2. To reveal the true or inner (previously hidden) nature of something.
Ex. "It was later revealed that the magician was allergic to rabbits."
As a matter of fact, it is this latter sense that seems to be the primary usage of the word in the Bible. So, a perfectly normal, straightforward way to interpret the line in the above passage of Scripture from 2 Thessalonians would be "...and the man of sin is revealed for who he really is, although he may already be well known."
So, I'm not saying it's wrong to interpret this passage to mean the Antichrist will not be well known prior to the Rapture, but when you look at what the word in the Greek actually means, you see that it certainly doesn't have to be that way.
* * * * *
I go on to point out that there is only ONE absolutely unmistakable, definitive way to positively ID the Antichrist, and that is the abomination of desolation at the midpoint of the Tribulation. (Seven year treaty? How would you know for 100 percent certain *THAT'S* the treaty?)
So, in my humble opinion, no current world leader can legitimately ruled out on the basis of 2 Thessalonians 2:3 alone.
Oh, and I am satisfied that Daniel 11:37 has nothing to do with the Antichrist being gay. The "desire of women" had to do with the idea that every Jewish woman dreamed of being the lucky lady who would give birth to the Messiah--which he will either claim to be, or will be believed by many to be.
Link to article:
http://www.alittlestrength.com/articles/2013/1305-yes-he-can.htm
That is, "...no current world leader can legitimately BE ruled out..."
ReplyDeleteBTW, I wrote that article in response to people's claims that Barack Obama *couldn't* be the Antichrist simply because he had already been "revealed," so the article is a bit dated. However, most of the important points still apply today.
Actually Macron became president of France with 66.06% of the vote. This was the final reported score, before they rounded it up to 66.10
ReplyDeleteAnd King Juan Carlos of Spain's gematria is 666.

Macron announced a global environmental summit in December 2017 just today that will focus on the financial aspects of the Paris treaty. It will be held in France.
ReplyDeleteIt was sometime in July 2017 and there was a debate on who the identity of the antichrist was. Some months later, on the news, a mega spacecraft had descended (it reminded me of ‘Close encounters of the third kind’). A man had come, he looked human, a mighty man indeed, but his DNA had the seed of man but also that of satan (perhaps the many stories of alien abductions of people on earth and their examinations and probings were true). All these was hard to grasp..mmm, was Jaco Prinsloo right afterall? Then again, I suppose satan can choose whoever, to be possessed with the antichrist spirit. He would have superhuman abilities and soon was accepted as a world leader. Later, from an assassination attempt, he received a deadly head wound which leads to his death but he comes back to life, filled with satan’s (antichrist) spirit..however, he no longer have the use of his right eye and right arm. He makes a trip to somewhere, it looked like a Roman city, his purpose was to connect up with a (false) “prophet” and his name was…
