Cassie you are correct. I thought the same thing. Tears in my eyes as I see what is coming and the yearning for it with all my soul, heart and being. COME LORD JESUS!!!! Can't happen soon enough, but HE controls ALL THINGS!

Trumpets in Scripture are Warnings; the 7 in Revelation proclaim the last 3 1/2 Year "Great Tribulation". Body Resurrection of believers occurs at the 7th and final Trumpet to proclaim the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ
There's nothing in Scripture that categorically equates Paul's "last trump" with the angelic 7th Trumpet in Revelation.
DeleteWhy is this even a discussion item? "for is the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?" 1 Cor 14:8 "...last trump: for the trumpet will sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible..." 1 Cor 15:52 "trump of God..." 1 Thess 4:17
DeleteWhen God says Trumpet He means Trumpet Gary. NO uncertainty here, He only describes 7 Trumpets in Revelation and the 7th is the Last Trumpet the Trump of God
Again, there is nothing that equates the two in the Bible. You have to make an assumption, which is usually a dangerous thing to do when it comes to Scripture.
DeleteThere are many trumpets in Scripture, not just the 7 angelic trumpets in Revelation.
The Last Trumpet would be by definition the Trumpets described in Revelation since the entire book deals with the Great Tribulation
