Signs in the heavens
Joel 2:31:
The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood Before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.
Luke 21:25:
There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
Luke 21:11:
There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
Spirit of lawlessness: As in the days of Noah
2 Peter 3:2-5:
For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
The Psalm 83 War (at least a type and shadow of it)
Psalm 83:
A Song, a Psalm of Asaph.
O God, do not remain quiet;
Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still.
For behold, Your enemies make an uproar,
And those who hate You have exalted themselves.
They make shrewd plans against Your people,
and conspire together against Your treasured ones.
They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation,
That the name of Israel be remembered no more.”
For they have conspired together with one mind;
Against You they make a covenant:
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
Moab and the Hagrites;
Gebal and Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Assyria also has joined with them;
They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah.
Deal with them as with Midian,
As with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent of Kishon,
Who were destroyed at En-dor,
Who became as dung for the ground.
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb
And all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
Who said, “Let us possess for ourselves
The pastures of God.”
O my God, make them like the whirling dust,
Like chaff before the wind.
Like fire that burns the forest
And like a flame that sets the mountains on fire,
So pursue them with Your tempest
And terrify them with Your storm.
Fill their faces with dishonor,
That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever,
And let them be humiliated and perish,
That they may know that You alone, whose name is the Lord,
Are the Most High over all the earth.
The Arab Spring
Isaiah 19:
The oracle concerning Egypt.
Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to Egypt;
The idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence,
And the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.
“So I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians;
And they will each fight against his brother and each against his neighbor,
City against city and kingdom against kingdom.
“Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be demoralized within them;
And I will confound their strategy,
So that they will resort to idols and ghosts of the dead
And to mediums and spiritists.
“Moreover, I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel master,
And a mighty king will rule over them,” declares the Lord God of hosts.
The waters from the sea will dry up,
And the river will be parched and dry.
The canals will emit a stench,
The streams of Egypt will thin out and dry up;
The reeds and rushes will rot away.
The bulrushes by the Nile, by the edge of the Nile
And all the sown fields by the Nile
Will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
And the fishermen will lament,
And all those who cast a line into the Nile will mourn,
And those who spread nets on the waters will pine away.
Moreover, the manufacturers of linen made from combed flax
And the weavers of white cloth will be utterly dejected.
And the pillars of Egypt will be crushed;
All the hired laborers will be grieved in soul.....

Man, amazing how many times God reminds us of his promise to Israel!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite from the list above - Isaiah 54:7 "For a brief moment I forsook you, But with great compassion I will gather you". His promise of GREAT compassion is just awesome!
Amen. God is faithful
ReplyDeleteIt is beyond my feeble comprehension how all of this has taken place and prophecy continues to be fulfilled at such a rapid pace and so many "Christians" cannot see it!

Psalm 119:89
ReplyDeleteFor ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
I am in awe at how he set the celestial bodies in motion so that they come into perfect alignment at the perfect times in the history of man. He did that with us having our own free will!! Mind blown!! How great is He, the great I Am.
ReplyDeleteme too. me too. who is this God of ours, that even the wind and waves obey and He speaks galaxies into existence and they align at the perfect moment. He knows the end from the beginning and His arm is not too short that He cannot save.
DeleteGood day. This gentleman's work may be of interest to the Body of Christ, or not. If you read the Oct. 5, 2017 letter attached to the video,The Rescue of the Bride, he is date setting and discussing plainly, planet x. The Rescue of the Bride, youtube.

@ Greg I love the picture of the eclipse! It looks to me like a wedding ring. One a groom gives to a bride
ReplyDeleteI believe that Revelation 12 Daily (https://rev12daily.blogspot.com/)is on to something here. I've been saying for weeks not to be concerned if nothing happened on the 23rd because of the parable of the 10 Virgins/Bridesmaids. I don't believe in setting dates either but we may be going home tomorrow! God bless all of the watchmen for helping us to look up at the right moment in time.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Isaiah 17 - Damascas has definitely become a heap of ruins.
ReplyDeleteHey, we are all lovers of Christ here, believe with all of our hearts He died for our sins, and we WILL be raptured. There are divergent views of "when". I have a question that really perplexes me. I am a prewrath believer, ie...rapture happening at the end of the 6th seal.
ReplyDeleteI do not call those that are pre trib "scoffers and mockers"...and am perplexed why my position draws such comments my way? I have had some very kind e-mails with a couple of people who said we were out of here on the 23rd. It was like I was mocking, scoffing, and being an unbeliever having a later view of the rapture.
Just because I say we will be here many more months does not warrant such verbage against me. I am not mocking, scoffing or unbelieving the rapture in any way...just have a divergent view of when.
My whole intent is to help those that were adamant we are out of here by what "I believe" are dates not possible until certain events happen.
One lady even said if there was no rapture by rapture by the 23rd, there isn't going to be one period! That kind of statement us what drives me out of the woodwork.
I would love to have been raptured on the 23rd, or this weekend , or next month....and if we are , then I am at peace KNOWING that one being in error of "when" the rapture will occur is not going to cause him/her to miss it. We are all on the same team here, and my faith has been even made stronger as being here after the 23rd, and other near future dates that will come and go.
I am not a date setter, or watcher, but an event watcher. I strongly read we will see the AC come to power, perform the abomination of desolation, then we will go through the great tribulation.
Then "immediately" AFTER the tribulation will the sun turn dark, the moon shall not give off her light...etc. Then Christ will come in the clouds and have his angels gather the elect from the four winds....If that isn't the rapture I dont know what is.
But, most will say it isn't, and if they are right, then great! The rapture comes with no tribulation.
Hi Stan,
DeleteI believe that regardless of which crowd you interact with, there will be wolves among the sheep; Jesus himself promised us that. If you are familiar with the book, rules for radicals, you will know that the closer you get to the truth, the more obnoxious and twisted the attacks will become which is why James tells us to take heart that we experience trials and tribulation. IMHO verbal abuse can be even more damaging than physical abuse because with verbal abuse we are no always aware of pain (consider the evolutionary lie for example) but the body knows when it is being assaulted and tries to compensate by shutting down.
For what is worth, I too believe that we will be here for most of the tribulation as we are told that we will be protected through trials, but promised not to experience wrath. I suppose I could dig up all the scriptural references but I let those whom are much better wordsmiths do that. However, just because I take the prewrath position, I too was/am praying fervently that we would/will be taken sooner than later. Knowing what time it is makes it incredibly hard to concentrate on anything and anyone more than our Savior, His Word and His promises.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
-Joe
Thanks Joe for the comments.
ReplyDeleteStan,
DeleteThank you for your comments and for sharing. You are right. We are on the same team and are of the same Body. Far greater it is, I think, that we DON'T know the day or the hour; although I firmly believe that we are in the final days and final hours before the Rapture. Even so, it is good for us to inquire of such things even if we are wrong as there is so much for us to learn.
We are each, in our own way, still works in progress.
I too am one who was convinced we were "outta here" on the 23rd. I would be lying if I said I didn't feel a sense of sadness over still being here; but I also had a sense of fear about not. It's hard to express in this small space, but I have learned something very important. I have learned to look more critically at myself in this season of repentance and seek the LORD as I have found myself lacking in some key areas. I would liken them to "growing pains" and have to say that I am most thankful to G-D for revealing these things.
It seems very clear that we are indeed in the final days. We've been saying that for a long time, but there seems so much more to it now. I think most people would agree.
I for one am humbled to have lived to see the Great Sign. Some will argue that it was not the Great Sign. I for one believe and share it as testimony to our LORD the living G-D and His Holy Bible. If time is as short as it seems, then we have little time left to share Christ with those whom He gives to us to share. I have many hopes for these days and as much as I long to go home, I would be content to serve the Lord here just a while longer if it pleases Him.
May we all be voices that point to the truth. May we be unified in the message that is Christ. May we be convicted and led by the Holy Spirit, each in our own way, to bring glory and honour to His holy name by encouraging the saints and seeking the lost.
To that end I count myself blessed to call you brother. Even if we don't share a common view on some points; glory be to G-D that He will come in His time and that His revelation will be beyond our wildest imaginations!
Glory to G-D in the highest!
Grace and peace to you,
Pastor Rich
Pastor Rich....Thank you for your most eloquent reply..
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can see where I am really coming from. I observed hopes going up and then get dashed when the 24th came
..followed by more renewed hopes for the 30th...then more disappointment. Now there is a new date later this month because of possibly a leap month added into the calendar. Sure as I am typing now, that new date will pass and more disappointment.
The amount of posts and comments have decreased and I want to share my enthusiasm for the Lords return as increasing with me.
I dont like seeing a "falling away" of faith amongst fellow Christians.
I fear that "if" we do see the AC come to power, this will cause a large falling away for the ones that believe this is not possible.
This concern is my reason for posting.
Now, what I am expecting is our country to lose its dominant place in the world which is the major road block against the AC coming to power.
Whether we watch all this from the throne ...or on this stone
..what a UNIQUE time to be alive in the 6000 year history of mankind!
