If You Think 2020 Has Been Crazy So Far, You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet
As I've come to discover, a number of other watchmen and women had their start in 2010, as well. Could that have been a move of the Spirit, using trumpeters to wake up the Church and proclaim the final ten years' boarding call to the world? Perhaps Christ's warning [and promise] to the church at Smyrna was a template for the period of 2010–2020. The final ten years of the Church Age?
Do not be afraid of the things that you are about to suffer; behold, the Devil is about to cast [some] of you to prison, that you may be tried, and you will have tribulation ten days; become faithful to death, and I will give to you the garland of life. (Rev. 2:10, LSV)
The series of events that initially caught my attention in 2010 culminated with the beginning of the Arab Spring. As the West has almost universally turned against Christianity, especially since dozens of countries have legalized gay marriage and begun legally and socially persecuting those who oppose, in the East the series of wars and revolutions sparked by Obama's “Cairo Speech” and the subsequent self-immolation of a Tunisian food cart owner, led to severe persecution of Christians in the 10/40 Window.
The rise of ISIS, Boko Haram, and other Islamist groups this past decade led to Christians going virtually extinct from Iraq and tens of thousands slaughtered at the end of the sword. God's people were faithful unto death. At the same time, Xi Jinping rose to power in China early on in this ten-year period (2012), reversing decades of pro-democracy moves and ushering in a new period of extreme persecution against Christians. In 2016 Russia enacted the Yarovaya Law, prohibiting evangelism and causing the greatest persecution against evangelicals since the days of the Soviet Union. It has been a decade of extreme persecution against the true Church while the Laodiceans have only grown more heretical.
But it has also been a decade witnessing the expansion and strengthening of Israel for the first time since 1967. Jerusalem was recognized as its capital by several countries, including the United States. The Golan Heights was also recognized. In 2018 the Jewish Nation-State Law was passed through the Knesset, restoring Israel's legal-biblical identity. And now, after several years of delays and obstacles, it looks like the Israeli government is moving full steam ahead with annexing parts of Judea and Samaria next month, while agreeing to the Deal of the Century.
A big reason I think this could very well be the year in which the Tribulation itself commences is that I've witnessed wave after wave of prophetic signs come and go these past ten years—although the waves have grown closer and closer together—but now, in 2020, the wave that formed in January has never dissipated. It's just growing bigger. And more things are being piled on. I've witnessed the significance of a number of “high watch dates” build with legitimate prophetic signs, but the Restrainer would step in, preventing the dominoes from falling. The Restrainer finally appears to be stepping back, and when He removes His restraining hand, the Church goes with Him.
Despite the unprecedented nature of COVID-19 in causing global lockdown and economic devastation, and then the growing riots in the United States and everywhere else, most people are still desperately clinging to normalcy as if their life depended on it. They refuse to see what's happening.
There has been obfuscation in regards to Israel's annexation plans next month, but it appears to be a “now or never”-type of moment. Netanyahu's latest comments echo this—indeed, he looks set to push this through beginning July 1st.
For behold, in those days, and in that time, || When I turn back [to] the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, || Then I have gathered all the nations, || And caused them to go down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, || And I have been in judgment with them there, || Concerning My people and My inheritance—Israel, || Whom they scattered among nations, || And My land they have apportioned. (Jl. 3:1–2, LSV)
The nations, presently spearheaded by the United States, are about to divide the Promised Land. And even more than that—they're actually stepping back to allow Israel to do it themselves. While the U.S. plan is the one to be voted on next month, make no mistake about it, all the nations will be guilty before God for violating the everlasting covenant made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. All the nations have agreed to the basic premise of “two states living side by side in peace and security,” aside from those that have an even more radical idea, such as Iran, which wants Israel removed completely. God will bring all nations into judgment for apportioning His land.
News out of Europe and Israel yesterday and today indicates that this whole division of the land could happen far more quickly than foreseen. For starters, the Palestinians were trying to politically maneuver the European Union to support sanctions against Israel for moving forward with annexation, but yesterday it was reported that Germany, one of the two leading countries in the E.U., will not push sanctions. Because of the E.U.'s governing structure of consensus-based decision-making, this means sanctions are dead on arrival. If Israel moves forward next month, which looks to be the case, Europe's response will just be the proverbial slap on the wrist. A muted response is as good as a positive response from Israel's perspective. And the Israeli government feels that with U.S. elections just five months away, they may never again have such a seemingly favorable opportunity.
The Palestinians have thus far been completely opposed to any negotiations resulting from the Deal of the Century, but here's how things just went from 0 to 60 overnight: the Palestinian Authority has suddenly offered a counter-proposal that actually acknowledges some of the West Bank (“Judea and Samaria”) will remain in Israel's hands and that land swaps will be necessary. Even more, the Palestinian Authority's proposal acknowledges the state will be demilitarized—a major and longstanding demand from Israel. Recognizing that Israel will not take the bait and will still move forward next month, Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh is saying that they will declare independence and establish a permanent government (source).
The Palestinians have declared statehood numerous times, but they've never actually implemented those declarations with a permanent government and the institutions that independent states have (the Palestinian Authority is merely a transitional pseudo-government established by the 1993 Oslo Accords). If they follow through on the threat in response to next month's annexation vote, and European and other countries opposed to Israel's vote recognize the new Palestinian government, the land would not only be divided, but an independent Palestinian state would exist within the boundaries of the land that Israel is abandoning to the Palestinians. Israel and the United States are drawing up the final borders as I write this and we're just a few short weeks away from when the vote(s) may start.
If you think the compounding issues of 2020 are historic, including Coronavirus and global riots, wait until the land that God deeded to Abraham is sliced in half. You ain't seen nothing yet.
Houston, we are go for launch!
What if I told you that God, in His merciful forbearance, allowed the tragedy of George Floyd's death and the subsequent rioting to warn the entire world that 1. the rapture of Christ's Church is imminent, and 2. the Day of the LORD is at hand? Well that's exactly what just transpired—today.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Rom. 8:28, NIV)
George Floyd's unjust death led to equally unjust retributive violence and politicization, and these events became the focus of media attention all over the world. Today is George Floyd's funeral, which is being held in Houston.
Around noon Central Time, two pastors came to the microphone to speak, one after the other. While the live feed was being broadcast on news networks all over the world, the first pastor quoted from the fifth chapter of the book of the prophet Amos, beginning in verse 16:
Therefore the Lord, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the farmer to mourning, and such as are skillful of lamentation to wailing.
And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the Lord.
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? (Am. 5:16–20, KJV)
Then, even more incredibly, the next speaker quoted this great promise to the Church—the clearest description of the rapture event in the entire Bible:
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thess. 4:13–18, KJV)
As trivial as this may seem to many, understand that God has just clearly warned the world that the Tribulation is at hand and the removal of His children from the earth is even nearer than that. If the world was in need of one last warning, this very well could have been it. Remember, networks from all over the United States and all over the world were broadcasting this.

DeleteThe year 2020 has already been a full year of prophecy. Israel annexation, churches closed, US divisiveness and Chinese pandemic are a really bad combination. Summer Jewish holy days from Tammuz to Tishri are full of history.
On Kadesh Barnea 2005, tropical depression 10-12 began, Israel evacuated Gaza and 4 settlements in Samaria and the US evacuated the Gulf Coast (Katina). Now the US is pushing another peace plan for Israel that ends in the Tribulation, the fall of the US and Armageddon.
Two Key Events:
• Israel annexation
• World War III (Rapture happens before judgment.)
Here are 2020 dates. I don’t know what year or if WWIII begins before or after the rapture but Jewish days keep repeating.
> 17th of Tammuz (July 8-9) - Golden Calf
Babylonians, Romans begin to destroy Jerusalem, United States born
Israel annexation in July?
(Exodus 32:19)
> 9th of Av (July 29-30) - Kadesh Barnea Rebellion
Temples Destroyed, Jewish Persecution, World War I, Iraq War I, Gaza/Hurricane Katrina
World War III/6th Trumpet - China begins the march to the Euphrates?
(Numbers 13:30-31, Revelation 9:14-16)
> Teshuvah (August 20-September 28) Return/Repent – 2nd 40 Days 2nd tablets
Elul 1-Nagasaki, World War II begins and ends. 23-McKinley assassinated, 9/11
WWIII - China crosses the Euphrates?
(Exodus 34:1)
> Yom Teruah/Trumpets (September 18-19)
Theodore Roosevelt becomes President
Last Trump/Rapture Day but what year?
God grabs the Christians out before war goes nuclear.
Leviticus 23:24-25, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
> Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement (September 27-28)
Yom Kippur War, End of Armageddon/Second Coming

> Sukkot/Tabernacles (October 2-9) - God with Us
Feast of the Nations, Columbus Day, UK captures Palestine, German Reunification, Afghanistan
Coronation of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords
Zechariah 14:16
You, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:4-5).
Maybe this Rosh Hashanah, we rise with Jesus?

ReplyDeleteWhen I heard JD reference Global Media Outreach a month or so ago--at that time 500K hits a day to their website, I decided they could probably use additional volunteers to respond to the inquiries. Since the second week in May I have been responding to 4 contacts a day. Most have prayed to receive Christ for the first time, a few have been recommitments wanting to grow in their faith, a few wanting more information. But the most interesting thing to me is that in all this time only 2, yes, 2 have been from the West: 1 USA, 1 Sweden. What does that tell us about Western Europe and the US. How sad. ETDD from previous post is right about America. We have truly abandoned our Christian roots--and purpose in the world. The vast majority of contacts I have seen have been from India/Africa. A few other places, but mostly these two locations. Perhaps other volunteers are hearing from the Western world, but I have been astounded at the lack that I have seen. Great article, Gary, thanks.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! The last-days harvest is happening right now, right before the rapture.
Deletehttps://globalmediaoutreach.com/
NeedHim.org is a similar org where people desperate for God are being offered on a silver platter. So many coming to faith.
Anyone can volunteer with these.
Yes, pray for these little lambs--many, many are from high persecution countries. Pray they stay safely tucked under His wings. So much distress on all levels in the world.
DeleteGood on you Hmewrdbd! What a fantastic thing to do and a real encouragement to me. Often people want to help but aren't sure how or where. Easy to forget that ministries like this need help, the harvest is plentiful in many parts of the world, and it can be done from our own homes! Great that you had that initiative and desire to take that step.
DeleteFill us in from time to time as to what you are experiencing and may it encourage others to do something similar. God Bless : )
Thanks, Elgordo, wish I'd known of it sooner. Am retired and could have been doing this much longer--trusting in God's timing. Judi
DeleteAmazing times. Thanks Gary.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering does anyone happen to know the time stamp in that video that Gary attached in article of the two ministers reading: Amos 5:16-20 & 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. As I don't fancy searching through the full 4 hour video to find them?
The scripture readings begin at about 55:30 of the above video.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mark. That was great. An alarm clock going off to the world, to the lateness of the hour.
DeletePraying, that those passages of scriptures, pierce to the heart of a multitude of people in these final days, and convicts them of their need to place their faith in their SAVIOR.
I can hardly sleep at night these last few nights, thinking that tonight might be the night!
Thanks Mark!
DeleteThose with eyes and ears know Satan is especially hard at work these days. Many who deny this fact are at best complicit in the deception, while others are aligned with the enemy. I read a very good letter today penned by Carlo Maria Viganò. I left the Catholic Church many years ago for lots of reasons. However, he is one of a few Catholic leadership that is openly at odds with the current pope and accomplices. Quotes in different paragraphs: "In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children
ReplyDeleteof darkness." and further down: "These two sides, which have a Biblical nature, follow the clear
separation between the offspring of the Woman and the offspring of the Serpent:. Full letter here https://s3.amazonaws.com/lifesite/Open_Letter_President_Donald_Trump.pdf . Put on the Full Armor of God daily. God Bless.
Another false prophet candidate, I see. Cool.
DeleteALL the candidates look "dark" or the world would not have fallen off a cliff into the abyss of hell setting stage for antichrist.
DeleteI also was punished then humbled by our Father God ten years ago, then His Holy Spirit entered me, healed me, and been here ever since. I ran into an old friend yesterday at the Post Office, he was describing his ninety-nine year old mother that had just died. The last few days of her life with Hospice were just laying in the bed in a comatose state. When she past on she threw her arms up in the air, and hollered out "The Gates Of Heaven" and past on to Jesus. I said what an amazing God we have, He was letting y'all know He is for real and what awaits us with Jesus.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this post. I'm on the edge of my seat. Every day is a total unknown at this point and hopefully closer and closer to our being gathered together to our Savior!
ReplyDeleteI've been so sad about the recent death of George Floyd. I don't understand how a human can do something like that to another human. Not just in George's situation. Terrible things like that happen daily. The world has fallen so far away from God.
I find names interesting. I think they're important. I often look into the meaning of names to see if there is something more there. Sometimes there is, sometimes there's not. Gary noted, the whole world had a chance to watch George Floyd's funeral and hear those scriptures. The name George can mean "earth." The name Floyd can mean "grey-haired" or it can mean "flood." Houston can mean "take heart" or it can mean "town (city) on a hill." And also there is a storm called Christobal moving up through the US. Cristobal means "Christ-bearer."
I'm not sure what it all means but thought I would pass that info on. It seems interesting. Is the earth reaching the end of it's age (Grey haired)? Are the Christ bearers to take heart and be a city on a hill? Or will we soon be on our way to the city God has prepared for us? Seems like it could be something. God designs everything perfectly. God bless!
I was pleased with both these pastors and am glad to see them leading sheep.
ReplyDeleteThe first pastor for rebuking the songs and solemn assemblies of men yup directly midst all the singing, bleating, wailing, emoting, caterwauling, and virtue-signaling of the four hour 'funeral'.
The Lord wants justice and righteousness out of His people and sneers at this Lookit Me nonsense and social (as in non) justice.
The second pastor for knowing the hour and what passage was most appropriate for public consumption.
Extra credit virtue for the giant George Floyd Angel painting. Hard to see how folks could get anything more wrong but then they added the halo. George must have picked that up during one of his B&Es.
Dear Gary, Great article - I agree that the convergence of signs in 2020 is striking. As birth gets closer and closer, the labor pains only increase in frequency and intensity.
ReplyDeleteI must say I'm troubled and confused by your mixed messaging in so many posts. You seem to support Israel and yet you continue to use the misnomer/ leftist anti-Israel propaganda term 'palestinians'. Palestinians and Leprechauns are mythical creatures, the only difference being that Leprechauns were not created out of whole cloth to create a false victim people to make Israelis look like oppressors and cruel occupiers.
They are Jordanian Arabs- 98% with Jordanian passports. Jasar Arafat was Egyptian. There is no Palestinian passport, currency, historical artifacts, national language, national or historical food or art forms, nor is there any historical king, leader or president before 1950.
Everytime people use this false term - for Jordanian Arabs - it strengthens the argument that they are victims and reinforces the false notion that this is their land, and that Israel are occupying their land. The entire term was created to make the world believe a lie- a horrible lie against Israel and her people.
You can't support Israel and the people that want to wipe her off the map.
By continuing to use this propaganda term, you give credence to their existence and their claim. ;-(
As far as ive read I have to agree with this. Pastor J.D. Farag has said something similar and called the "palestinians" people of Egyptian origin. "Palestinians" do'not exist.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that its very fitting that the ancestors of the Egyptians who enslaved the Israelites over 3000 yrs. ago would now be the ones laying claim to the land that God promised to Abraham. This is the gall of satan. His fingerprints are written all over it.
ReplyDeleteWhen we look at the BIG picture, it's easy to see that it all goes back to the original sins of pride-arrogance-hubris-jealousy.
DeleteFirst Satans', then Cain, followed later by Ishmael.
We're ALL still feeling the effects 6,000 years later!
Just goes to show the far reaching impact sin has.
Folks who say how they live is noone else's business are DEAD WRONG!
"No man is an island.." (John Donne, For Whom the Bell Tolls)
* * * * *
Folks sometimes get confused when we talk about current events, including happenings in Israel.
They think we're HAPPY about all the chaos and discord!
They think we WANT to see God's land divided!
I had to look up the term schadenfreude to make sure I knew what it meant...
EXCITED, yes; happy, no.
It's actually very disconcerting to see much of what's going on - the further we drift away from Godly principles and practices in our lives, the worse it gets!
But, it is EXCITING to experience what God said was going to happen actually happening!
Correction-I meant to say descendants of the Egyptians.
ReplyDeleteBefore being called Palestinians, weren't they the Philistines.
ReplyDeleteNo, though they want that association to come to mind to give them legitimacy. The Philistines were Greek, likely from Macedonia based on armor and pottery-art evidence. They eventually were largely wiped out by the Israelites and fully purged by the Babylonians. The "Palestinians" are, as mentioned above, Egyptian.
DeleteSo what do you think about the capsules name ? Dragon ...in the scheme of things this seems overwhelmingly significant . I'm not giving the devil any place. I'm referring to what they did . I mean , of all names ! Dragon ? Really ?
ReplyDeleteWowww...my friend and I started our watchmen journey in 2010 after being exposed to the realities of this world. That was so significant to me that I stopped reading this article just to type this message.

ReplyDeleteSince May 2018, when Israel celebrated her 70th birthday, Western-Europe has had long spells of severe drought which are increasingly becoming more severe. It is a sign of he Climate Change spiralling out of control which became manifest in 2017-2018. Is there any relationship between Israel's 70th birthday and the global climate system getting out of control?

ReplyDeleteThis may be anecdotal evidence but I was listening to a weird late night radio show thats infatuated with ufos/bigfoot etc.. Anyway Pastor Paul Begley was a guest talking about prophecy. According to him the "deal of the century" looks like a certainty. He has made 10 trips over there in the last few years and due to an increase in construction activity, building roads and checkpoints in the suspected areas he thinks its in the bag. This thing is going to happen. I thought someone might be interested.
ReplyDeleteGary....Your title "you aint seen nothing yet"....simply NAILS it! I have used that phrase more the last 4 months than ever.
ReplyDeleteI also keep saying to friends, family, and strangers...."that as bad as it is, we will wish we were back at this date"
I have underestimated the exponentially increasing rate of our society's decay.
I can only inagine what chaos we all will be experiencing this time next year.
Yep, it's happening quickly, but the Restrainer is still propping things up. His continued presence in and through the Church will make the collapse all the more cataclysmic when we're gone.
DeleteSaying how much worse things are going to get is really a downer! I am hoping we don't have to see much worse before Jesus comes to take us home!
ReplyDeleteI mean.....I realize it WILL get worse....in the Tribulation....I'm hoping not to see lots worse while we are here!
DeleteI dont know when the rapture will be but I know that if we are still here a year from now things are not likely to be better. The fig tree generation theory/model is running out of time, that much I know. The newly reconstituted nation of Israel becomes 80 yrs. old on May 14th, 2028-7 yrs. is May 14th of next year. Im looking at the upcoming "peace deal" and this Fall time. After that i'll be scratching my head.
ReplyDeleteMainer.....In my opinion, when it says the generation that sees the beginning, will see the end could be looked at this way. When Israel became a nation in 1948, take a snapshot of all those alive on the earth at that time...from newborns to elderly people. As long as one single person is still alive, that generation is also.
ReplyDeleteThis does not mean it will play out over 110 years or whatever length of time it takes for the last one to die, just as well as it taking 70 years, 80 years either. After 80 years, there still will be reason for many to still be carrying on that generation.
Could be right. I agree that we shouldn't put God in a 70-80 year box, although I think the 70-80 year model is the most solid right now.
Delete"This generation shall not pass" does not mean you have to look at the END of a certain time period be it 70 years or 100 years. The event in question could be at ANY point BEFORE the generation actually passes!
DeleteUnknown....I still hold very strongly to a posttrib rapture. I am not going to debate why, as it causes disharmony here.
DeleteI am but a person who with all my heart believe Christ died for our sins, rose again, and confess this with my mouth. Whenever Christ calls us home, we believers will all go together, and whomever has the timing incorrect , that will not prevent them from going to be with Christ. I will more than welcome to be incorrect on this timing, but will never accept I will be left behind for being incorrect as has been stated a few times.
If your right on that that is a major loop hole. Im sure many people born in 1948 will make it to 80 in 8 years from now and years beyond that which makes the fig tree generation theory invalid as it has been presented on this site. When it says that "this generation shall not pass until all these things are fulfilled" does that mean everyone born since '48? Some of these people could make it to 100.
ReplyDeleteI'm steadfast in my belief that The Parable of the Fig Tree is regarding the generation alive when Israel was reestablished because both biblical and extra-biblical 1st & 2nd century sources connected the nation of Israel to the fig tree. However, I've never presented the 70-80 year window as gospel truth. I believe it is VERY likely, but it's based on 1. the present life expectancy in Israel and the world, and 2. Psalm 90:10.
DeleteI'm not trying to hedge my bets, just trying not to be presumptuous. Do I feel confident in the 70-80 year model? Absolutely. Do I believe Jesus is taking us home in the next few months or couple of years? I feel far more confident of the latter. I just don't want to put God in a box. If we're here in Spring 2021 and then get raptured in Fall 2021, I won't be charging God with not taking us home within exactly 80 years, if that makes sense. His timing will be perfect and it's extremely close, and judging by how things are going this year—especially with CV, lawlessness, and the DoTC—I'd say the 80 years-max scenario is looking pretty good right about now.
Blessings.
When I look at the language in Psalm 90... I am quick to notice that the phrase 'we fly away' is there... 70 to 80 years, but they are 'cut short and we fly away.'
DeleteThen I notice in the gospels that Jesus said: If those times were not cut short, no flesh would survive... but for the sake of the elect, they will be cut short...
The language similarity here is startling... It makes it very hard to believe Jesus is not pointing at Psalm 90 with His choice of words.
Besides, every other 'road marker' of His description of the End Times / End of the Age passages can easily be seen, and increase in magnitude/frequency at a regular pace... Maybe this will take another year or two, but maybe we're just days or hours away now... Only He would know...
I do agree that Ps. 90:10 seems to have prophetic undertones. Definitely not pulled out of thin air (:
DeleteTo my eyes at least, it reads somewhat as a synopsis of world history... From the beginning to the end. The flood is mentioned, the rapture could be hinted at, and the judgement.
Delete"This generation shall not pass" does not mean you have to look at the END of a certain time period be it 70 years or 100 years. The event in question could be at ANY point BEFORE the generation actually passes!

DeleteHello, in Psalm 90 I always thought that when it is written: and we fly, that meant, our spirit flies to the place where it should go when we die. I only learned about 2 years ago that it might mean the rapture of the church. I am slow to understand. Carole
ReplyDeleteIn 2017 less than a year before Israels 70th birthday around the Rev.12 sign many thought that was the rapture. And then on the seventieth anniversary in 2018 nothing happened. After this the fig tree generation model had to be altered. Maybe God will use the full 80 yrs. and thus the current model of 2021 to '28. It will be interesting to see as we get closer to the deadline how it will get moved ahead yet again. Actually its already started, Fall 2021?
ReplyDeleteI think its ok to say "I dont know". First of all when Jesus said "this generation shall not pass till all these things are fulfilled" is totally misinterpreted as I tried to explain before and will again if were still here a year from now.
If not for the current "peace deal" I would not know if were close or not but I believe we could be because of it.
Also there have been many star alignments in the last few years that were thought to point to the possible rapture including one last April. This is a waste of time, the stars are not going to tell us when the rapture will be. The rapture is a part of the mystery/secret that was revealed to Paul, not known by the O.T. prophets or even Jesus himself. Which means Psalms 90:10 cannot be referring to the rapture.
Just curious, why do you visit this site if you disagree with everything presented here? Is it because you believe differently, but hope you're wrong? Because I'm feeling like it's that you're hoping to gloat if it's wrong. This is the strongly advocates for pre-tribulation and is hopeful for this to happen before the start of Israel's 73rd year, but that doesn't make it definitive that that's correct. It's a reasonable scriptural inference, but, as was pointed out earlier, another interpretation could be during the 80tg year, or some ephemeral "before the last baby dies born in 1948". And that's okay! We hope it's sooner because we want our king to return for us. Please don't mock that hope, even if we're wrong.
DeleteI agree, Mainer every time you post you seem to present a view that is oppositional. This is a fair question posed by Sherrill, why do you feel it necessary to read articles that you largely disagree with then post discouraging comments that disagree with almost everyone here? What do you stand to gain and what is your goal?
DeleteTruth be told whenever I see your name on a post I don't even read it because I know it's going to be discouraging.
Mainer, I think you are absolutely right.

ReplyDeleteSo, I'm sure everyone saw Minneapolis city voted to disband police? Our country is falling to pieces through delusion. I can't decide if this is judgement of God, part of the "natural" diminishing of our country prior to the End Times (since the US isn't mentioned), or just another birth pang or what. But it still boggles the mind.

DeleteI live there. Don’t put too much stock in that one vote, or similar votes. The real world outcome will be far more nuanced, by necessity, and will take plenty of time to roll out. Little if anything is going to happen overnight. We’re in the midst of hopeful change, as with many other areas of the country.
