Shelf Life
1. Starship: As a Babel 2.0, mankind is on the verge of [permanently] reaching the heavens, such that “nothing will be impossible for them” (Gen. 11:4–6); Mars colonies are now a distinct possibility in 5–10 years; the Moon even sooner. I see no prophetic scenario in which mankind is living on other celestial bodies before Christ returns. Flight #4 a few weeks back was a near-total success. Flight #5 may happen next month.
2. AI: AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) possibly in 2027 per a recent analysis (see here). That happens to be near or just before a possible Tribulation midpoint if it commences this year.
3. Fig Tree: While there are some different interpretations, the generation alive at Israel’s reestablishment is about over by any possible metric (see here).
4. Two Millennia: They’re up circa 2030–2033 (see here).
5. Aging: Related to AI, the growth of AI in the next 2–3 years could lead to exponential algorithmic health discoveries, thus humans are on the verge of eating from the proverbial Tree of Life again.
A side note regarding #5: In line with all the chiasms we see in Scripture, especially the numerous bookends found in Genesis and Revelation, notice that after Adam and Eve were banished, God sent cherubim to keep them from accessing the Tree in their sinful state (Gen. 3:22–24).
Fast forward to Revelation: the Tree of Life is restored in the new heavens and new earth (Rev. 22:2) and the sinless have access to it, but the sinful are prevented from accessing it... how??? Because God sends them a strong delusion since they refused to believe the truth of Christ and be saved (2 Thess. 2:11–12). And He does this by having Satan, a former cherub (Ezek. 28:13–19), cast down (2 Thess. 2:7–10; Rev. 12:7–10; 13:1–8). So in a manner of speaking, because humanity is on the verge of immortality in its sinful state once again, God sends another cherub to stop it.

One irony is that while a perverse "immortality" may be in sight for some, the nations are on a fast track course to destruction with not one government functioning, global migration chaos, and economic debt bubbles ready to explode. Such is the shelf life of a planet without God.

ReplyDeleteThe prophecies in Daniel 9, Ezekiel 4 and Hosea 6 all point to a 30 ad crucifixion, a 2031 second coming, the year 2030 being the final year of the Jews’ timeout, and a 2024 rapture and start of the Tribulation. We also have a bonus witness of a 30 ad crucifixion from some entries in the Talmud:
First let’s establish a 30 ad crucifixion from the prophets. We have two prophetic witnesses for 30 ad:
(1) Daniel 9:25-26 tells us that “from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem” there will be 483 years till messiah is killed. The command went out by Artaxerxes in 454 bc. 454 bc to 30 ad is 483 years.
(2) The Ezekiel 4:6 prophecy talks about the iniquity of the house of Judah being for 40 days (of years) to the 2nd siege of Jerusalem in 70 ad. From the iniquity of the Jews crucifying their messiah, there are 40 years until the siege of Jerusalem in 70 ad, which puts the crucifixion at 30 ad.
(3) Entries by the Jews in the Talmud speak of some interesting things that happened at the temple for 40 years up until its destruction in 70 ad: (1) The extremely large temple doors would always swing open by themselves overnight. (2) The lamp would always go out overnight, no matter what they did to keep it burning. (3) The lot for the scapegoat always came up in the right hand for 40 years straight. The odds are 1 in over a trillion. (4) The scarlet thread would never turn white again (symbolizing their sins were no longer forgiven under the old covenant). All of this indicates a 30 ad crucifixion.
Now that we’ve established a 30 ad crucifixion, let’s determine the second coming by the Hosea 6 prophecy. Hosea 6:1-2 talk about the Jews turning to the Lord and Christ “reviving” them and “raising them up” after 2000 years (after 2 days), on the 2001 year (the 3rd day). We know this will take place on Feast of Atonement. So 30 ad + 2001 years brings us to 2031 ad for the second coming. A day is as a thousand years to the Lord — 2 Peter 3:8

DeleteNow let’s see the year when the “timeout” for the Jews ends - when Christ will inspect them again to see if He finds faith. Both Ezekiel 4 iniquity prophecies show us that 2030 is the final year for their timeout. To calculate this, we need to take God’s punishment multiplier of 7 for Israel’s unrepentance found in Leviticus 7:18, 21, 24, 28
(1) We talked about the Ezekiel 4:6-7 prophecy about the 40 years for the iniquity of the house of Judah. Now let’s talk about how we get to 2030 from it. Israel had 40 years to repent of their iniquity of crucifying Christ in 30 ad. Did they repent in 70 ad? No, so God multiplied their 40 year timeout by 7, adding another 280 years, bringing us to 350 ad. Did they repent in 350 ad? No. So God multiplied their 280 years of timeout by 7, adding 1960 years of timeout to 70 ad, bringing us to 2030 as the last year of the Jews’ timeout. Will they repent in 2030? Yes they will.
(2) We have another witness of 2030 being the final year for the timeout of the Jews in the prophecy of the 390 years for the iniquity of the house of Israel found in Ezekiel 4:1-5. This prophecy talks about the 390 years of the iniquity of the house of Israel leading up to the first siege of Jerusalem in 701 bc. So God gave them 390 years to repent. Did they repent in 701 bc? No they didn’t, so God multiplied their years of iniquity by 7, adding 2730 years of timeout from 701 bc, which brings us to 2030 ad, being the final year of their timeout. Will Christ find faith in the Jews in 2030? Yes He will.
Now that we know the final year for the timeout of the Jews is 2030 and that Christ will come back the following year in 2031 at His second coming to “bind them up”, we can easily calculate the year of the rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation. We know from Daniel 9:24 that 70 weeks of years are determined for the Jews, but we only counted 69 of them from the command of Artaxerxes in 454 bc to restore Jerusalem to 30 ad. That means we have 1 week left, or 7 years. We all know those 7 years are the Tribulation that’s right before the second coming, so 2031 - 7 brings us to 2024 for the year of the rapture and start of the Tribulation.
And we know that the next feast to be fulfilled is Feast of Trumpets, so Trumpets 2024 is the rapture and start of the Tribulation. Paul makes it clear in 1 Thessalonians 5:4 that the rapture and start of the Tribulation - the Day of the Lord - occur at the same time by saying that that Day will not overtake us as a thief. If we were raptured before the Day of the Lord, then it wouldn’t need to be said that that Day would overtake us like a thief, because we would already be gone. We can see a rather telling demonstration of this fact by observing what the prophet Jeremiah wrote in chapter 22 and then confirmed in Isaiah 66:7 followed by a Revelation 12:5 blast of Rapture obviousness …
“Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up thy voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all thy lovers are destroyed. I spake unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice. The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness. O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!” (Jeremiah 22:20-23).
The language of a woman in travail when presenting to us the destiny of Lebanon is rather hard to deny. In Revelation 12:4-5, we see a picture of the man child (the Church) being called up into Heaven (raptured) before the birth pangs of the Tribulation begin. It points us straight to language used of Israel’s rebirth in 1948 as seen in verse 7 of the 66th chapter of Isaiah …
“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. (Isaiah 66:7-9).
Finally, in Revelation 12:5, we see the much discussed parenthetical Rapture passage of the Apostle John as he reveals the catching up of the man child as the dragon stands before the woman …
“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne” (Revelation 12:4-5).
The biblical reference to Lebanon in the end times sits smack in the middle of travail Rapture language, which is clearly pre-tribulational. It is as obvious as the nose on one’s face that it pertains to the destiny of the living believers in Christ at the end of the age when the world will witness an approaching judgment upon the nation of Lebanon.

Some are to eager to whip up into a frenzy and start a doctrine and preach a message from what ever platform there on, TV, radio, youtube, pulpit.
